Re: Even further off. Re: WAAAYYY OT! (Was: Re: [newbie] 8.0 Beta)
I'm sorry for that last one. I'm going to attach a cord to my computer that gives electrical shocks when I click "reply". At least then I'll really want to respond to something.
Re: WAAAYYY OT! (Was: Re: [newbie] 8.0 Beta)
To this stupid thread! I invited a friend over to experience the wonders of Linux Mandrake and to learn just what it could do for him. I thought, "I will show him the message list so he can observer, in action, the support he can expect." Low and behold all this garbage was floating around and he made the comment, "Wow, can I expect this crap all the time?" I quickly pointed out that this was not the norm, but I'm pissed that what was a great support list has become filled with crap that has nothing to do with Linux. I feel embarrased that new people will sign up and see this kind of behavior on a list that is for Mandrake support only, not this other crap. The Bible actually does say that the earth is a sphere/circle. I believe that it is in Job. Sorry if i annoy you people, but i had to reply to this.. Anyway, this is my LAST post to this thread no matter what. Case closed. > Dave Sherman wrote: > > 1. Anyway, i read it myself (someone showed it to me), so i know it's there. It doesn't say so in a scientific manner, though. It just shows that the people living in those days believed the earth was flat. My point was that what people believed to be right 2000 years ago doesn't need to be so today. > > 3. I just meant that meanings on right and wrong was different back then (see above). WAAAYYY OT! (Was: Re: [newbie] 8.0 Beta)
1. Actually, humans were the LAST species to be created, on the sixth day. 2. Nowhere does it say the earth is flat. It also doesn't say the earth is round. The Bible is not a science textbook. 3. I wouldn't know about your "lots of other nonsense", since I have not really noticed it. 4. Yes, pedophilia is sick, regardless of your religion (or lack thereof). Apologies to all for continuing this OT thread... Dave P.S.: I'll bet Hitler was a pedophiliac. And I sincerely hope we all know what happens when Hitler is brought into a thread...
