[Nighthawk Lovers] viral plague and influenza

2009-11-19 Thread stanley/ Randolph
Hey everyone,
Since this is unrelated to riding except as it concerns our health, I am
writing in light of the serious and deadly viral plague that has hit the
Ukraine.  I don't know if it will make it here, but chances are that, if they
want us dead, they will spray the air over our cities as they did in over Kiev
in the Ukraine.
This spraying has been going on for several decades over here anyway.  Just
look at the sky almost any day and you will see what they like to call vapor
trails.
Vapor trails disappar a few minutes after the plane passes.  These remain and
grow.
Should we get hit, there are two ways to save your life, and the medical
establishment will not have anything to do with either.
One is vitamin c; ;and if it progresses to the point of going to the
hospital, intravenous vitamin C will likely aid recovery if there is to be a
recovery.  And the other is colloidal silver.
Not likely  you will be able to get IV C in a hospital wthout some serious
legal threats, but you can use colloidal silver at home in a nebulizer.  Just
breathe it in.  It will kill the virus before it kills you. CS kills any single
cell organism and there is no chance the organism will develop resistance,
becasuse of the way it kills.
I personally have cured several very serious respiratory  infections myself by
breathing CS.  I only had a vaporizer, but it worked, albeit slowly.
My two sons have not been to a doctor with a major illness since their birth.
And no, I'm not saying birth is an illness...
One is ten; the other eleven.
May you continue to experience many happy riding days.
And Happy Thsanksgiving

Stanley

RE: [Nighthawk Lovers] Re: O ring chain VS non o ring chain

2009-11-19 Thread Greg Holuban

I paid $55 for an O ring chain.

Spend the extra dough. It'll be worth it. As someone who used to
maintain chains in the days before O-ring chains were invented, you
wouldn't catch me using a standard chain ever again.

The O-ring chain has its lube already sealed in the rollers. That
means you just have to use a light lube or wax on the exterior of the
chain occasionally. Since the rollers are never in an
unlubed condition (which can often be the case on standard chains),
they tend to last a lot longer too. Standard chains must constantly
be soaked with a heavy lube that will penetrate
to the rollers. That also means you'll have gooey lube flying off the
chain all over everything in the vicinity of the chain. That heavy
lube also attracts lots of dirt, which means you'll have
to clean the crud off the chain much more often.

Since they wear faster, standard chains also need adjustment much
 more frequently.

My last O-ring chain went 24K miles and was adjusted 3 times in that
interval and I never needed to clean it (used a light silicone lube
that didn't attract dirt). Back when I used standard chains, I
averaged about 12K miles to a chain and had to do an adjustment about
 every thousand miles.

In my opinion, the O-ring chain has made the hassle of chain
maintenance almost non-existent. Well worth the extra bucks.

I've never heard of this. Who's spraying Ukraine? Who would be spraying the U.S.?The last time I had this concern was doing chemical warfare drill's in the Air ForceNov 19, 2009 07:26:19 PM, nighthawk_lovers@googlegroups.com wrote:
