I should but you'll have to bring your own light sabers and other
  accessories.

All joking a side, if you're heading to Oahu give me a heads up,
depending on what the quiver looks like I may have a bike for people
to ride. At the rate things are growing I may have a hard time riding
all my bikes enough - even in Hawaii.

A quick google search located the following table of dimensions of
common washer sizes.
http://www.engineersedge.com/plain_washers.htm
Washers are generally pretty cheap, it wouldn't cost too much to buy
an assortment and try them until you find one that fits.

I figured since I've been trolling around here for a while I'd make a
formal introduction. My name is Matt, I've been riding for about 4
months now. I've been a backyard wrench turner since puberty and
finally decided to get into motorcycling. I bought an '82 CB450SC in
December for $950 and spent the rest of the slushy Ohio winter undoing
the previous modifications and doing some of my own as well as getting
a bent valve replaced. I would've talked him down but I didn't know
about the valve til we got it home and did a leak down test; that and
I was kind of excited. :) I also got most of a '79 CM400A thrown in
for free. I've been riding it pretty much every dry day since
February and I tweak something on it just as often. The carbs have
been cleaned and I run a slightly modified #4 washer mod along with
two idle mixture thumb screws. Other than a stuck air valve, which is
getting replaced shortly, it's running great and has been a wonderful
first bike. I haven't started my car in 2 weeks :D

My two major complaints are that 6th gear is far too tall for it and
the seat is a leather wrapped brick. The first I'm addressing by
dropping from the stock 17\36 to a 15\34. Should let it turn about
400RPM faster at 70mph and give it a little more torque to work with.
One of these days I'm going to reshape the foam seat but not quite
  ready yet.

Without further ado, the promised pictures.

Oh - One other thing - did you do a Gas Mileage before and after on
your #4 washer mod? Been thinking about doing it to mine and wondering
  about the consequences
