Just be prepared to install larger jets. Other than that no biggie, though they 
will be more likely to require periodic adjustments.

Hello everybody,

I believe the carb boots that go from the air filter to the carbs on
my 83 650 are shot.  Honda no longer sells them.  You can find some
used on e-bay, but 30 year old rubber is 30 year old rubber.  Has
anyone ever tried going to individual air filter pods on each
carburetor? I've seen it done on other bikes.  Just wondering if
anyone has any experience with it.

Pods are also going to need more careful balancing and more frequent
cleaning/replacing because of how exposed they are. Personally, I'm trying
my hardest to avoid pods on my 650 efi project.
