Shoot, every chance I get I want to be in front!! No shame in my game LOL
It's especially important to me cause all you tall folks be blockin my view
:-O If I came to see Prince, I want to SEE Prince up front and personal.
I've done the nosebleed thing and I'm tired of it...who want's to see "ant"
Prince? And those projection screens don't do him justice, plus they cut out
all the idiosyncratic portions of the show that make it special. I'm part of
the front runner crew, and proud of it ;-p

that post. Still doesn't mean if I disagree on something that I can't speak
up on it. If I ever feel that way or I've reached my limit then I will leave

I have been spoiled over the years with great seats, up close and personal and 
all, but because of that I don't feel the need to do it for every event.  
Especially the Nokia theater PrinceMar show.  My azz rolled in late, no waiting 
in line, didnt miss a lick of music, got a seat in the bleachers and when the 
performance started I was able to go right up to the front with no problems and 
out back to my seat if I wanted.  I loved it.  But I chalk that up to the 
venue.  That doesnt happen everywhere and I'm super glad I didnt wait in line 
all day!  To each his own!  I love Prince just as much as the next guy, but I 
love me more!

   U all need to stop bickering already!  it was a joke.  I too am guilty of 
messing with Tonia bout being in line days b4 an event starts, but I never 
condemned her for doin so.  If I had the energy I might be there too.  In all 
seriousness, when I have joked with Tonia no harm was intended, it was all in 
good funI apologize if I pissed u offf and if i do so anytime in the 
future, call me on it.  BUT U GOTTA ADMIT, its kinda funny and yes, Tonia, U R 
A STAR!  EVERY1 KNOWS BOUT U!

I agree, being up there all those years among the wanna be Prince fans, didn't 
stop me from dancing and knowing the lyrics.  But Musicology spoiled me.  I'll 
admit it.

If I'd never been up front then I might not know.  But now, things have 
changed.  And that's just from me.  Not speaking for anyone else here.

BTW:  Cheapened the experience, I remember paying over $100 and almost being 
able to touch the roof.  (although I know you mean it other than monetarily)

Just me and my thoughts.

Plus, it's time to go home and I don't have to see your response until

Guys can we all stop bashing Derek. He's a funny guy - and sometimes that may 
possibly hurt someone's feelings. It happens. You know it isn't done to be mean 
and you move on. He's been providing a service to us for years - connecting all 
of us, updating us when he gets some info, and giving us a place to meet up and 
all share in the purple psychosis we all have. I consider Derek a friend - he's 
a good guy. He doesn't have to moderate the list, it is a lot of work and he 
does it because he likes prince and it is nice to connect nyers that all have 
the same interest. The get-togethers were fun and I look forward to more when 
he starts touring. I've met some really great people through this list and I 
don't think there would be one without Derek. So cut the guy some slack, 
appreciate his humor, and be happy he does this for us.

Then Tonia (me) will speak for herself as I have done before. The joke is
old old old and old. And it has nothing to do with having a sense of humor
because I do have one. It's been going way too long. Let's put it to rest.
It's getting to the point that I'm irritated by it every single time.  It's
run it's course with me. And I have mentioned it to you before when we were
in line for the Webster Hall taping when you and Rich started it up then.
Just because I didn't cuss you out or get evil it doesn't mean I wasn't
serious.

As for going state to state to concerts, if I choose to then I'm going to.
Again bottom line. If I have the funds to go and I want to go then I'm going
to go. Period! Just because I do it doesn't mean I will ever neglect my
bills being paid on a monthly basis ON TIME. Trust in that. I have excellent
credit and will not let ANYBODY including PRINCE ruin that. You never have
and never will hear the words "I maxed my credit card or borrowed from a
bunch a people so I could go see Prince". That ain't' happening! EVER!! What
is really irritating is that people are so focus on what I'm doing with my
time and my money. As long as I'm taking care of me and mine it ain't
nobody's business. I work hard for my money and I'm using it the way I see
fit to use it. I mean damn there are a number of other people on the list
that have gone to other states to see him INCLUDING the Celebrations. Not
just the select people you choose to joke on. If you're gonna have jokes
then joke on all the ones you know do it not just a few.

On the subject of being up front in a line SO WHAT! Big deal. If that's
where I wanna be then that's on ME. I'm not begging anyone to understand or
accept it. You say those that know and don't know me are saying it too but
if they don't know me then how are they saying other than hearing it from
you every so often Derek. Which was the case at the Tamar show when someone
said you were telling them that I would be up front there.

You say that those "observational jokes" help you get by with dealing with
Prince's fans. But a good amount of the time your jokes are more evil than
jokes. At times they go way too far. If you and the individual you're
joking with know one another like that then fine but it doesn't mean it's
open season on others. Sometimes it's best to think first then speak not
speak and not care how others feel. If you feel I don't have a sense of
humor regarding this then that's your opinion and you're entitled to it just
like I'm entitled to mine. As others are entitled to theirs.

I've said my peace for the moment. If I have anything more to say I'd prefer
to say in person face to face. As I've told you before I don't care for the
back and forth mailing list/email bs. If I have to then fine but face to
face is more my way no matter how many people are around.

have no idea why we do the things we do. They may seem silly 2 u, but
everyone has reasons 4 doing what they do. Reasons far deeper than your
small mind can delve. Just like u have reasons taking time out of ur life 2

incite into things u don't understand. Other than my daughter, I don't have
family Derek.  Since 1983 I've been on my own. I look up 2 Prince because
that was the first person who unknowingly took my mind off of this. The only
positive thing I could cling 2. Maybe if I still had my mother and father, I
would not feel the need 2 cling 2 Prince. U don't know Tonia's reasons. And
u don't think past ur own nose 2 give her the respect that she and everyone
here deserves.

For the week 7, 3121 drops 27 spots to 80. 3121 for the week of 5/7/2006
sold 12,261 units which is 22% less then last week. Total domestic sales for
this week are 389,451 units...

It will be interesting to see next weeks numbers especially since Prince has
finally started to generate a little bit of news about his self...

In related chart news 3121 dropped off the RnB since I last reported. From
8, 15 to 20 this...
