[NSWolves] England
Does anyone think England has a realistic chance of finishing any higher than 3rd place in the group? I think we're stuffed and will be lucky to win a game. I don't really rate Lampard but now that he's out we have called up Jordan Henderson who this year for Liverpool contributed 2 goals and 1 assist in 37 games. Also with no Rooney for the first two games we could be homeward bound before he kicks a ball in anger. Depressing times for England. At least things are looking much rosier for Wolves. Spurs fan I work with had a great idea for England team selection Throw the first 23 selected away, then select the next best 23. At least they'll be hungry and motivated. I think they may surprise you Marcus. I am expecting us to at least reach the quarter finals. France are poor at the moment and we should also account for Ukraine. Sweden is going to be the hardest game. For the first tournament in many years the pressure on the England team from the press appears to be minimal (in line with general expectations). I reckon they will now do better than anyone expected.
