The true cost of the postage is probably significantly less as my package
also included the Complete Series' 1 2 of Auf Wiedersehen Pet on DVD (8
discs in total). So lets assume that Wolves are out of pocket about 12.5
pounds.

Not wanting to nitpick, but if the true cost of postage if five pounds and
Wolves charge fifteen then the net profit to Wolves would be ten pounds.

You must be using the Macquarie model of value in your calculations

Is anyone thinking of getting a new shirt? I'm wondering if there is a deal
to be done with the club on a big batch. Woudl be a nightmare to organise
though.

2009/5/27 Marcus Chantry marcus.chan...@macquarie.com

Even though we're taking 50, that doesn't include anyone from either
Victoria or WA Wolves supporters clubs. From memory Vic has quite a large
group of fans so I reckon there could easily be another 50+ between those
two states. I reckon there might be somewhere between 20-50 through the
official Wolves Travel Club although it might be hard for a lot of people in
the UK to justify the expense in the current GFC.

It also seems like quite a few people registered interest with Perth Glory
who would have been sent the ticket forms directly from the club, so
possibly another 100 from that.

So I'd think that about 300 in the Wolves enclosure sounds right. Around
the rest of the ground I'm sure there will be plenty more Wolves fans.

Yeah 15 quid is pretty expensive... it does get cheaper with multiple
shirts though - 20 for 2 or more. I did a test on the site and even
putting in 10 shirts left the postage still at 20 so if anyone wants to
club together to save on postage let me know.

If not I'll get my brother to get one for me and post over - they can't
weigh much - just checked royalmail site and 400g is just over 5 quid.
Not sure if the shirts are still $40 in the club shop... I'm assuming
they are no more.

and Wolves charge fifteen then the net profit to Wolves would be ten

The true cost of the postage is probably significantly less as my package
also included the Complete Series' 1 2 of Auf Wiedersehen Pet on DVD (8

pounds.

My missus is over there so I might ask her to get me one.

Are you getting H U D D L E S T O N E across the back?

I think quite a lot of people received their new ones this week. Mine
 arrived Monday and it's superb.

Is anyone thinking of getting a new shirt? I'm wondering if there is a
deal to be done with the club on a big batch. Woudl be a nightmare to
 organise though.

So how many Wolves fans do we think will attend the Perth game?

I originally estimated 2-300, but now I'm not sure, I think there could
 well be more.

 Estimates anyone??
