[NTG-context] theorem environment
Hello, Using ConTeXt, I would like to define environments to appear like -- Theorem 1.4 (Pythagoras) In any right triangle, $c^2 = a^2 + b^2$ holds where ... -- and --- Example 1.1 --- Let $a=2$ ... --- and (e. g. small, slanted or whatever) Remark 1.3 -- | Euclidean ... | ... . After browsing the documentation on the web, focussing on \defineenummeration, I'm still nowhere near the solution. Could anyone please give examples of how to do this? [NTG-context] Precise Destination of References
I have links to different parts of my document using \goto. I would like to know if there is some way to increase the precision of the links' destination. When I click them, they navigate to the correct page, but not the correct part of the page. Also, I've opened the document in several different pdf viewers, and, whenever I click a link, the document re-sizes itself. Is there a way to prevent this? ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

[NTG-context] cont-sys.mkiv in texlive 2011
Hi, I have installed tl-2011 a few days ago. Context mkiv runs ok. But to configure page size I put a few commands in cont-sys.mkiv under home:.texlive2011/tex-config which is the result of mtxrun --expand-path TEXMFCONFIG. However, the file has no effect on context and nor is it found by mtxrun cont-sys.mkiv. TEXMF is found as: home:.texlive2011/texmf-config:home:texmf: !!selfautoparent:texmf-config:!!selfautoparent:texmf-project: !!selfautoparent:texmf-fonts:!!/usr/local/texlive/texmf-local: !!selfautoparent:texmf-dist:!!selfautoparent:linux-64:!!selfautoparent:texmf (one line) What do I miss? Hello, the link http://www.ntg.nl/maps/42/maps.pdf (= all MAPS together) seems to be broken; also other links to http://www.ntg.nl/maps/42/*.pdf; could they be recovered? TIA. Is there a way I can change the generated PDF so that the client will be able to edit the PDF when he gets it, or could I better generate HTML? I don't see why documents created by context/luatex should pose a problem with respect to adding annotations. If 38 annotations are good for 100M extra data then (1) the annotations are huge, or (2) the editing app messes up or (3) the user could try to 'save as' instead of 'save' (often forces cleanup) The kind of pdf produced by context/luatex is pretty simple and efficient and does not have any clever tricks. The auto magic is unrelated to the pdf. [NTG-context] Layouts in ConTeXt book finished and available
Hi all, We are glad to announce the availability of another ConTeXt book: Layouts in ConTeXt Willi Egger & Hans Hagen & Taco Hoekwater "One of the principles behind ConTeXt is that you can create your own styles. Often defining a style starts with setting up the page layout. This booklet explains in detail how to do that. It also contains information on how to prepare your documents for professional printing, including page imposition." ISBN 978-94-90688-00-4, in English, 142 pages, 24 EURO excl. shipping. http://www.h2o-books.com/node/12 (English website interface) http://www.h2o-boeken.nl/node/12 (Dutch website interface) Please allow a little bit more time for delivery than 3-4 workings days when you place an order immediately. We ordered an initial set from the printer this morning, but it turned out that there were already more pre-orders than Taco had anticipated, so most of the books from that initial set are already sent out. And while our supply line is fast, it is not quite doable to get a new stack within 3 working days. Best wishes, Boekplan / H2O Books PS We have received a cease&desist for http://www.boekplan.nl/ from the company that owns http://www.boekenplan.nl/, we have switched to the new name "H2O Boeken" (H2O Books). This new name is based on the first letters of the last names of the owners of the company. ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___
