Trust between NT 4 domain and windows 2000 domain

2001-09-11 Thread JERIES Charlie

Hello everyone,

I have a mkt NT 4 Domain and a
windows 2000 domain and I need to create a two way trust between them.

In the 2000 AD I have a forest with an empty root in this
format corpnet.companyname.com the companyname.com name space is delegated from
a standard DNS Server. In the next level I have a child domain called
marketing. I need to create a trust between marketing and mkt domain

When I add the domain mkt to the trusted domains and
trusting domains on the marketing domain controller, I get a message saying: domain
cannot be contacted...

Any ideas?

Note: I can ping PDC of the NT 4 domain.

Thanks for the help

You're right I agree with
you.

Retaliation is a must And it must
be as severe as what they did to us..

GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Those that advocate waiting for a
full and complete accounting to determine blame are WRONG. We should
retaliateNOW against ANY terrorist group that haveEVER in the past
taken ANY type of action against the US. 50,000 people deserve
RETRIBUTION and those of us still here DEMAND a strong deterrent for the
future.

Both World Trade Center
buildings have fallen. There is only rubble where these historic
structures stood.

Could you confirm either more or less whether the
structures are basically now grade level?

Probably the most tragic for the US since the assassination
