2.83%YoY.  Realisasi inflasi bulan  September  09 tersebut lebih buruk

We maintain Outperform on Bumi with an unchanged DCF-based target price
of Rp3,800 (WACC 16%, LTG 0%). 1H09 net profit is 7% above consensus,
but in line with our expectations. There were operational improvements
and greater profitability despite a difficult environment in 1H09.
Earnings upside could come from production and sales volume in 2H09
which could exceed our current assumptions. Although details on its CIC
deal are not fully out, we believe cash flows will be better going
forward as the fresh funds would free up Bumi's cash flows for a
potential doubling of production by 2012. Bumi has given the assurance
that there is no equity link involved, hence no dilution concerns.

Jaman dulu saat jaman Rupiah 1000 dipotong jadi 1 perak, kalo
radio BBC atau ABC ngumumin laporan inflasi maka buru buru
kita belanjaan duit kita beli barang sebelon yg punya toko
tahu besok harga naek karena ada informasi inflasi.

Kalo ada bank bangkrut, kita jual cheque kita ama nasabah bank yg punya utang 
kebank dengan setengah harga... discount 50%...
Dari pada uang ilang semua, masih mending 50%... hehehe...

Munas Golkar yang salah satu agendanya memilih Ketua Umum berlangsung 5-9 
Oktober. Biasanya hari terakhir Munas pemilihan Ketum baru dilaksanakan.

Surya Paloh menjadi pesaing utama bagi Aburizal Bakrie.

Jika Golkar ingin menampilkan jatidiri dan juga ingin dianggap sebagai 
organisasi politik yang berkarakter kemungkinan besar SP yang akan memenangkan 
posisi Ketum. Sebaliknya jika kader mereka bersikap "Sangat PRAGMATIS" dan 
ingin ikut ambil bagian (kue) dari kekuasaan maka pilihan bisa jatuh ke AB.

TS ikut juga meramaikan bursa pemilihan, peluangnya? Lagi-lagi kembali kembali 
ke kader masing-masing, jika mereka gamang terhadap kedua calon tersebut di 
atas bisa saja peluang TS menjadi Ketum terbuka lebar.

Akan-kah Golkar menjadi salah satu organisasi politik yang bisa diharapkan 
membawa perubahan dan perbaikan bagi iklim perpolitikan maupun kesejahteraan di 
Indonesia? Kita tunggu saja kiprah selanjut-nya dan akhirnya Rakyat jua-lah 
sebagai penentu akhir dari eksistensi mereka. (Cuma seringkali setelah pesta 
demokrasi berakhir Rakyat kebanyakan agak terlupakan).

JAKARTA: Sebanyak 30% saham atau setara dengan 2,04 miliar saham PT
Delta Dunia Property Tbk kemungkinan dilepas ke pasar melalui mekanisme
private placement pada Oktober.

Beberapa eksekutif yang mendengar informasi itu mengatakan placement itu
biasanya dilaksanakan pada harga diskon. Namun, sejauh ini belum jelas
siapa investor yang akan menjual saham.

"Jika melihat target saham Delta Dunia yang dirilis oleh CLSA
Asia-Pacific Markets sebesar Rp2.450 per saham, harga placement
kemungkinan diskon dari kisaran itu," ujarnya kepada Bisnis kemarin.

CLSA memberikan peringkat beli terhadap saham Delta Dunia yang kini
berekspansi ke sumber daya alam. Delta Dunia berencana membeli 99% saham
perusahaan kontraktor pertambangan batu bara PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri
Utama (Buma) milik pengusaha Johan Lensa senilai US$550 juta.

"Buma mempunyai rekam jejak sebagai perusahaan dengan kontrak jangka
panjang dan berbiaya murah. Perusahaan itu akan menjadi kunci yang
menguntungkan dari lonjakan permintaan terhadap batu bara themal,"
ungkap analis CLSA Ahmad Solihin seperti dikutip Bloomberg pada 2 hari
lalu.

Harga saham Delta Dunia kemarin melejit 14,13% ke level Rp2.100, menjadi
saham dengan nilai transaksi tertinggi kedua di bursa, setelah PT Bumi
Resources Tbk, menyusul backdoor listing Buma.

Saham berkode DOID itu ditransaksikan 397.662 lot atau 198,83 juta
saham, dengan nilai transaksi Rp397,79 miliar. Nilai tersebut mengekor
saham Bumi sebesar Rp1,04 triliun.

Pemegang saham utama Delta Dunia adalah PT Texta Indonesia sebesar 49%,
sedangkan PT Sinarmas Sekuritas dan PT BCI qq AJB Bumiputera sebanyak
13% dan 6%, sedangkan Benny Wirawangsa memiliki 13% saham.

Sumber Bisnis menambahkan placement saham Delta Dunia kemungkinan
ditangani oleh broker saham PT CLSA Indonesia.

Seandainya saat placement saham Delta Dunia dilepas di level Rp2.450,
berarti nilai transaksi penjualan itu bisa mencapai Rp4,99 triliun.

Ketika dikonfirmasi, Presiden Direktur CLSA Suwantara Gotama mengatakan
pihaknya belum ditunjuk sebagai pelaksana transaksi tutup sendiri
(crossing) saham berkode DOID itu karena seleksi masih berlangsung.

"Banyak [broker] yang mau sih, kami berharap menjadi yang ditunjuk.
Siapa yang tidak mau mendapatkan [deal] bisnis? Namun, semua kan
bergantung pada mereka [pemberi mandat]," ujarnya kemarin.

Saat ini, tuturnya, ada kurang dari 10 broker asing dan lokal yang
bersaing mengikuti seleksi pelaksana crossing, yang kabarnya dijadwalkan
berlangsung pada Oktober.

Ekspektasi kinerja

Analis PT Reliance Securities Tbk Gina N. Nasution mengatakan investor
memburu saham tersebut dengan ekspektasi kinerja Delta Dunia melejit
pascaakuisisi Buma.

"Kenaikan saham ini dipicu oleh spekulasi akuisisi Buma akan mendongkrak
kinerja perseroan. Investor asing memburu saham ini karena nantinya
bergerak di sektor tambang, sebaliknya pemodal domestik sepertinya masih
menunggu kepastian akuisisi," tuturnya kepada Bisnis kemarin.

Bisnis sebelumnya memberitakan akuisisi Delta Dunia terhadap 99,99%
saham Buma, senilai US$550 juta. Buma adalah kontraktor tambang batu
bara terbesar kedua nasional, setelah PT Pamapersada Nusantara yang
dikendalikan grup Astra melalui PT United Tractors Tbk.

Pada perdagangan kemarin, PT JP Morgan Securities Indonesia tercatat
menjadi pembeli terbesar saham perseroan di pasar berkode DOID, yakni 66
juta saham (0,97%) senilai Rp134,73 miliar.

PT Macquarie Capital Securities Indonesia berada di posisi kedua dengan
volume pembelian 19.213 lot atau 9,6 juta saham senilai Rp19,06 miliar.

Aksi beli besar-besaran tersebut membuat saham DOID terdongkrak,
sehingga kemarin menduduki posisi kedua penyumbang terbesar kenaikan
IHSG. Saham emiten properti tersebut menyumbang 2,31 poin, di bawah
saham PT Astra International Tbk yang menyumbang 2,91 poin

(CNN) - Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Donald Kohn said Wednesday that a 
decision to tighten accommodative monetary policies would depend on economic 
forecasts, rather than current conditions.

Speaking at the Cato Institute's Shadow Open Market Committee Meeting in 
Washington, D.C., Kohn said that the central bank must begin to withdraw its 
accommodation "well before aggregate spending threatens to press against 
potential supply, and well before inflation as well as inflation expectations 
rise above levels consistent with price stability." 

He did say, however, that he could not provide a list of variables that would 
lead the Fed to begin an exit, instead saying that they would use all sources 
of information to determine when the exit would be warranted.

"Clearly, the present degree of accommodation--as gauged by nominal and real 
short-term interest rates and the size of our balance sheet--is extraordinary, 
and we will have to take account of how that is influencing spending and 
inflation expectations when deciding when and how fast to tighten." Kohn said 
in prepared remarks.

Kohn went on to say, as many Fed officials have in recent months, that the 
central bank has the tools to wind down current monetary policy when it is 
necessary, and he said that the Fed is developing new techniques to drain its 
reserves, including reverse repurchase agreements against mortgage-backed 
securities and time deposits for banks at the Fed.

IMF Raises 2010 Growth Forecast; Asia Leads Recovery (Update2)

Oct. 1 (Bloomberg) -- The International Monetary Fund raised its forecast for 
global growth next year as more than $2 trillion in stimulus packages and 
demand in Asia pull the world economy out of its worst recession since World 
War II.

The Washington-based IMF said the economy will expand 3.1 percent in 2010, more 
than a July forecast of 2.5 percent. China's economy will grow 9 percent and 
India's 6.4 percent. That compares with growth of 1.7 percent in Japan, 1.5 
percent in the U.S. and 0.3 percent in the euro region.

Days after President Barack Obama and other leaders declared that the Group of 
20 is now the main forum for steering the global economy, the forecasts show 
emerging Asian nations powering the return to growth. The IMF, whose members 
are gathering in Istanbul for next week's annual meeting, warned that the 
recovery would be "weak by historic standards" and said restoring banks to 
health remains a priority.

"The global economy appears to be expanding again, pulled by the strong 
performance of Asian economies and stabilization or modest recovery elsewhere," 
IMF said in its semi-annual World Economic Outlook. Still, the rebound will be 
"sluggish, credit constrained and, for quite some time, jobless."

European stocks gained, with the Dow Jones Stoxx 600 Index adding 0.5 percent 
to 243.74 at 8:20 a.m. in London.

Crisis `Not Over'

The world economy will contract 1.1 percent this year, less than the 1.4 
projected in July, the IMF said. So-called advanced economies including the 
U.S., Germany and Japan will lead the slump, shrinking 3.4 percent. As a bloc, 
emerging economies will expand 1.7 percent this year.

"The recovery has started, meaning in most countries growth is coming back, 
nevertheless the crisis is not over," IMF Managing Director Dominique 
Strauss-Kahn said at an event in Istanbul today. While a double-dip recession 
is "possible," that is not the fund's central scenario, he added.

The IMF's forecast for the global expansion in 2010 is below those from 
Deutsche Bank AG and JPMorgan Chase & Co., which anticipate growth of 3.5 
percent and 3.4 percent respectively.

Exit Challenge

With the economy recovering, the key challenge for policy makers next year will 
be deciding when to start raising interest rates and unwinding emergency 
lending to banks, the IMF said. While a premature exit could pose a 
"significant" threat to the recovery, waiting too long could stoke asset 
bubbles in faster growing emerging economies.

"It's absolutely right to discuss the exit strategies, to prepare them, but it 
will be much too early to implement them," Strauss-Kahn said in an interview 
last week.

In the richest nations, conditions can remain accommodative for an "extended" 
period because inflation "is likely to remain subdued as long as output gaps 
remain wide," the IMF said. In some emerging economies, conditions may need to 
be tightened earlier and more flexible exchange rates could help smooth the 
process.

"Some of these economies are again seeing large asset- price increases in 
response to low interest rates, raising the danger of new asset-price bubbles," 
the IMF said in the report. Other risks to the recovery include rising oil 
prices and a "virulent" return of the H1N1 flu, the IMF said.

Stimulus Effect

The world escaped the threat of spiraling into a prolonged slump this year 
after governments poured trillions into their economies. The Standard & Poor's 
500 Index has surged 56 percent since March, oil prices have doubled and house 
prices have started to recover in the U.S. and the U.K.

Policy makers must nevertheless stay focused on making sure that the 
improvement in global credit markets and banking continues, the IMF said. It 
estimated yesterday that banks still have to announce a further $1.5 trillion 
in writedowns.

While the recovery "is most evident in financial markets," conditions are 
"still very difficult for borrowers," the IMF noted. "There has been only very 
limited progress in removing impaired assets from bank balance sheets."

Emergency government measures have also lumbered them with soaring debt. The 
IMF said today that politicians must commit to "large reductions in deficits" 
once the recovery is secured and devise a post-crisis strategy to ensure 
confidence in fiscal solvency.

China

The anticipated rebound in China may nevertheless counter some of the 
recessionary pressures still in the global economy, according to the report.

"The policy stimulus in China could support recoveries in other parts of Asia," 
the IMF said. Kansai Paint Co., Japan's largest paint maker, said on Sept. 18 
it aims to boost profit by a third next year as demand for cars in Asia drives 
sales. Alcoa Inc. Chief Executive Officer Klaus Kleinfeld on Sept. 3 raised his 
2009 forecast for global aluminum consumption because of demand triggere

Terima kasih fotonya pak pras. Ada hal yang ingin saya share dari foto-foto 
yang mungkin berguna buat kita. Saya melihat jenis mekanisme keruntuhan yang 
sama dari bangunan-bangunan itu.

1. Keruntuhan pada tiang terjadi di tengah tiang atau di pertemuan tiang-balok 
yang terjadinya diposisi tiang. Sebenarnya sewaktu saya kuliah dulu dan didalam 
building code, mekanisme keruntuhan itu harus terjadi di balok, sehingga kalau 
gempa bangunannya tidak rubuh. Kita menyebutnya "Strong Column Weak Beam". Tapi 
umumnya masyarakat kita tidak mau memdesain tiang itu cukup besar terhadap 
balok, karena memakan space. Dengan seringnya gempa sekarang ini, Kalo kita mau 
bangun rumah, tiangnya jangan terlalu tipis atau kecil dan sediakan penyaluran 
besi di pertemuan tiang- balok yang cukup panjang.

2. Tembok yang runtuh tidak terlihat adanya angkur ke tiang, sehingga kalau ada 
gempa bisa runtuh. Sebaiknya kalau mendirikan tembok dipasang angkur ke tiang 
setiap 0.5 m dengan panjang besi 80 cm.

Sebisa mungkin kalo terjadi gempa, keluarlah secepatnya dari gedung atau rumah, 
karena mungkin rumah kita tidak di desain dengan baik.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- First-time claims for jobless benefits increased more than 
expected last week, a sign employers are reluctant to hire and the job market 
remains weak

And while consumer spending jumped by the most in nearly eight years in August 
due partly to the government's Cash for Clunkers program, economists worry 
whether that rebound can be sustained with U.S. households facing rising 
unemployment, tight credit conditions and other obstacles.

The Labor Department said Thursday that initial claims for unemployment 
insurance rose to a seasonally adjusted 551,000 from 534,000 in the previous 
week. Wall Street economists expected an increase of 5,000, according to a 
survey by Thomson Reuters.

The increase comes after three weeks of declines. Weekly claims have been 
trending down since the spring, but the decline has been painfully slow. The 
four-week average, which smooths out fluctuations, dropped to 548,000, about 
110,000 below its peak in early April.

INILAH.COM, Jakarta – Rontoknya laba bersih kinerja Bakrie Group
(The Seven Brothers) pada laporan keuangan semester I 2009 dinilai
tidak akan berpengaruh negatif pada harga sahamnya karena masih
merefleksikan krisis ekonomi. Semua target price tidak akan berubah. 

Pengamat pasar modal, Willy Sanjaya memperkirakan pada triwulan
ketiga dan keempat laporan keuangan The Seven Brotehrs tidak lagi
mencatatkan rugi. Pasalnya, perekonomian sudah mulai menggeliat
sehingga berpengaruh positif pada kinerja The Seven Brothers. Karena
itu, saham-saham Bakrie Group ini masih sangat menjanjikan di masa
mendatang.

Menurutnya, semua target harga dari saham-saham tersebut tidak akan
mengalami perubahan. Buktinya, terkoreksinya laba bersih pada laporan
keuangan Bakrie Group tidak terlalu direspons negatif pasar. “Semuanya
hanya terkoreksi tipis(???bumi aja koreksi berapa atuh?),” katanya kepada 
INILAH.COM, di Jakarta, Kamis (1/10).

Pernyataan Willy ini mengomentari laporan keuangan emiten Bakrie
Grup yang mayoritas mencatatkan rugi. Hanya PT Bakrie Telecom (BTEL)
yang mencatatkan laba sebesar 16,7% sementara PT Bakrie & Brothers
(BNBR), hasil akhir kinerja semester satunya belum dirilis.

Selebihnya, emiten yang biasa disebut The Seven Brothers itu
mencatatkan rugi seperti PT Bumi Resources (BUMI), yang merugi hingga
1,53%(loh rugi ya??), PT Darma Henwa (DEWA) 93,6%, PT Energi Mega Persada (ENRG)
mencatatkan laba rugi Rp 20 miliar, PT Bakrie Sumatera (UNSP)
terkoreksi 58,5% dan PT Bakrieland Development (ELTY) yang juga
mencatatkan laba negatif 21,1%.

Pada Kamis (1/10) pukul 14.45 WIB saham BTEL hanya turun Rp 1
(0,70%) menjadi Rp 140, BNBR terkoreksi Rp 2 (1,52%) menjadi Rp 129,
BUMI terdepresiasi Rp 75 (2,32%) menjadi Rp 3.150, dan DEWA yang
melandai Rp 5 (2,38%) ke angka Rp 205. 

Begitu juga dengan ENRG yang merosot Rp 5 (1,29%) menjadi Rp 380,
UNSP rontok Rp 10 (1,14%) ke posisi Rp 8.60, dan ELTY yang juga
terdepak Rp 10 (2,70%) ke level Rp 3.60. “Pasar tidak terlalu merespons
negatif (yang merespon negatif kalo -10%??),” ujar Willy.

Pasalnya, lanjut Willy, anjloknya The Seven Brothres sudah dimaklumi
pasar. Laba perseroran semester I masih merefleksikan suasan krisis.
“Hanya saja, yang tidak bisa diprediksi adalah kekhawatiran terhadap
bencana,” tukasnya.

Dari hari ke hari Indonesia terus dilanda bencana gempa. Bahkan
gempa bukan hanya terjadi di Indonesia, di AS pun tak luput dari
sasaran bencana ini. Memang gempa tidak berpengaruh negatif secara
langsung terhadap Bakrie Group. “Namun, secara makro ekonomi semua
gempa pasti berpengaruh negatif,” ucapnya.

Apalagi, Musyawarah Nasional (Munas) Golkar yang sudah semakin
dekat, 4-7 Oktober akan dilangsungkan di Riau berdekatan dengan wilayah
gempa yaitu Jambi. Pasar mengkhawatirkan Munas tersebut akan tertunda.
“Kalau ditunda artinya ada masalah dan di pasar saham berarti The Seven
Brothers akan terkena imbas negatif,” imbuhnya. (BENER NGGAK NIH PARA SENIOR??)


Namun, sentimen dari dalam negeri sendiri, ekonomi Indonesia tidak
bermasalah. Nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dolar AS juga kuat. Apalagi,
pelantikan presiden juga sudah dekat. “Karena itu, triwulan ketiga dan
keempat saham-saham Bakrie Group sudah akan mengalami kenaikan

 Oct. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Crude oil is poised to enter a “bullish channel” and 
test resistance at the mid-$70-a-barrel level after rising the most in almost 
six months yesterday. 
 
 If prices close above $71.55 a barrel, oil is set to test resistance at 
$75.89, according to a technical analysis by Stephen Schork, president of 
consultant Schork Group Inc. in Villanova, Pennsylvania. 
 
 Crude oil for November delivery rose $3.90, or 5.9 percent, to settle at 
$70.61 a barrel yesterday on the New York Mercantile Exchange. 
 
 “If you are bearish you’ve got a problem right now,” said Schork. “If the 
channel holds we’ll get a re-test of the low to mid-$70s, which is where 
resistance has held since the summer.” 
 
 The November contract reached a high of $75.89 on Aug. 6, and stalled at 
levels above $75.50 four other times in August. 
 
 The bottom of the current range is $65.56 a barrel, said Schork. “If we go a 
couple days without any significant momentum above $71.55, I would look for a 
retracement back down again into the mid-$60s.”

Kyknya sdh praktek umum spy untung lbh besar, material bangunan dikorupsi. 
Semen dikurangi, pakai besi dan balok yg lbh kecil drpd yg seharusnya, pondasi 
cetek, dll. Mungkin msh ingat kejadian di china dmn sekolah rubuh setelah 
gempa. Praktek yg sgt membahayakan publik.

well, thanks god. dr pagi saya belum sempat menanyakan hal ini. untunglah bung 
JT sudah kasih kabar. semoga kita semua tetap solid. btw cerita gempa 
sepertinya masih panjang. entah karena kebetulan atau apa, tapi kok pas 
ya ketika SBY mulai memimpin ada serangkaian gempa lagi. jadi ingat gempa aceh 
n jogja, yang mana pernah saya rasakan. hmm.. semoga memang hanya kebetulan 
semata, n semoga gempa ga nambah lagi. bisa repot jadinya. mana gempa kayaknya 
juga melanda dow jones lagi nih. hehehehe, teteup...
