If it was a war (1960's), America lost after Vietnam War and flotation of
USD to Gold. The Bretton Wood system disbanded in 1970's meaning the peg was
lifted.

Still, America chugs and left the rest of the world behind, economically. So
did they lose when they close down Bretton Wood?

yes, in the holy texts they only mention dinar (gold) and dirham
(silver). not a single word of fulus (paper) i found.

i waited eagerly when HSBC and BSM announced they would launched gold
saving, but looks like some invisible hand banned this kind of saving.
nonetheles, i faithfully begun stockpilling bullion and bought bond,
reducing stock trading account and keeping the investment account.
however, its hard to short the USD when your bank charge a hefty fee
for withdrawing your own money.

do you know that stockpiling gold is also banned in sharia? wealth
should be put in circulation, creating more wealth and distribute the
economy to the whole society. that's why they taxes gold saving above
certain weight after a year.

Anyway, the US national reserve is 78% gold, while China is 0.9% and

2%, Indonesia only 3%. So even with the destruction of the dollar
 value

the rise of gold price), the US (not the dollar) will still be

I have a crazy thinking, that whatever any country do, the westerns

laughing to us while sitting a big pile of gold bullions.

They know that many countries are holding foreign currency (USD) as

 bring

the inflation, devaluate the USD and pushing the GOLD price up. That
 way,
everyone is INDIRECTLY paying for US debts. Obviously, they are not

The Chinese are trying to diversify their reserve by buying other
commodities inc. gold, but I don't think they can catch up and I
 don't

the US want to sell their gold reserve to anyone as gold is

I think we have to start thinking about the different between Interest and
Usury.
Now the bank interest in the 1st world has reached a number of below 2% /
annum
Meanwhile the profit sharing system in shariah could reached a math number
of 30% / deal

Usury is the excessive charge of interest of loans
Pls refer to Usury in wikipedia

Considering the numbers above, don’t you think we have to change our
understanding??

Just a thought ………. A3K
