Got my new tie rod ends for my 48 2 ton. Unfortunately there was nothing to
identify left and right. One does have left hand thread, one right hand, but
which side goes where?

Doesn't matter. They are left and right thread, opposite ends, so that when
you adjust your toe-in by twisting the tie-rod, both ends are moving in/out
together.

Keep asking. Here is a picture, but it only shows one side.
