[onap-discuss] [integration] a new error for create vgw

2018-07-26 Thread Liu Chenglong
Hi, Brian and Kang:
   According to this url:https://gerrit.onap.org/r/#/c/56287/
, we do this work for create new vgw2
in our laboratory:
   1. We design new vcpevsp_vgw_20180726a and check it ok.
   2. We design new vcpesvc_rescus_20180726a and check it ok and
distribute ok.
   3. After this, we download service-VcpesvcRescust20180726a-csar.csar
file and copy it to vcpe script csar directory.
   4. And then, we create a new vbrg instance and that ONAP IP is
10.3.0.11.
   5. Run vcpe healthcheck.py, check it ok.
   6. So we run vcpe.py customer to create new vgw2, but a new error
happend.

   The error message is :
   "statusMessage": "Bpmn error encountered in
CreateGenericALaCarteServiceInstance flow. Unexpected Error from method
prepareCreateServiceInstance() - Cannot serialize object in variable
'serviceInputParams': groovy.json.internal.LazyMap"

Please give us how to resolve this issue.

Re: [onap-discuss] [SO] Weekly Meeting Minutes 7-25-2018

2018-07-26 Thread Tal Liron
Hi Steve,

At your request I wrote a detailed README describing the solution and the
example: https://github.com/tliron/puccini-bpmn/

For convenience, I will reproduce it here:
Features

The imports directory has everything needed to generate BPMN from TOSCA.
Specifically there is bpmn.yaml
,
which has the type information and in turn imports bpmn.js
, which
is the JavaScript code to generate BPMN.

Two TOSCA features (introduced in TOSCA 1.1) are supported:
Workflows

TOSCA declarative workflows are translated into BPMN processes. Because a
TOSCA workflow is essentially a graph of steps with sequential and parallel
sections, in BPMN we must represent the graph using parallel gateways,
diverging or converging as the case may be, as well as conditional gateways
to represent step success or failure. The JavaScript analyzes the graph and
inserts the appropriate gateways between the steps.

Each step in TOSCA comprises zero or more activities that should happen in
sequence. In BPMN, all the activities in the step become a single scriptTask
entity. For now, we create a script made of pseudo-code that calls these
activities. A complete solution would require a BPM orchestration
environment and real code that would actually call node instances deployed
in a cloud.

Once the BPMN process is imported into BPM software, you may include this
process as a sub-process within other BPM processes. The workflow may or
may not hand control back to another sub-process, so that it may or may not
be a continuation of a control loop.
Policies
and Policy Triggers

Policy triggers are also translated into BPMN processes. Because the
trigger must be executed from within an orchestrator on node instances
deployed in a cloud, within configurable time intervals or schedules, this
BPM process essentially hands over control of the loop to the orchestrator.
By launching a new sub-process when triggered, control is handed back to
the business process: an open loop.

A single scriptTask entity is created for each target node of the policy,
and all are executed in parallel using diverging/converging parallel
gateways. A conditional gateway at the convergence is used to launch a new
sub-process if any of the tasks succeed. Again, the script is made of
pseudo-code that would call these operations within a BPM orchestration
environment.
Example

Included is an example TOSCA service template, open-loop.yaml
. This
example demonstrates an open loop policy, notify_on_high_load, which has a
trigger that runs an operation to get the CPU load on Compute nodes. If
this operation returns true then a BPM process named NotifyUser would be
launched.

Also included is a TOSCA workflow named backup, which comprises a step
graph that calls an operation on an interface while making sure to set node
states, notify on failure, etc. This generated BPMN process can be executed
on its own, or included as a sub-process within larger business processes.
Because it does not hand control back to any other process when done, it
represents an end event within a control loop.

We've already included sample output of this example in open-loop.bpmn2
.

To recreate the output, run this command (tested with Puccini 0.2):

puccini-tosca compile open-loop.yaml | puccini-js exec bpmn -o open-loop.bpmn2

Also included is open-loop-design.bpmn2
,
which is the same file with added diagram information so that it would
appear more nicely in a BPMN GUI. We used the Eclipse BPMN2 modeler
 to edit the diagram.

You can import either file into your BPM software. Tested with jBPM
 7.8.0.

Hi VID/AAI Team,

Can you please let me know how the Owning entity and Project entries are filled
and associated with a customer in A&AI. I followed the instructions
here
(added customer, subscription, tenant etc as attached) , but this does not
seem to populate the entries in VID for Owning Entity and Project. Appreciate

[onap-discuss] Golang based applications - Code coverage

2018-07-26 Thread Srini
Hi Amy,

As per discussions today in TSC about code coverage:

https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Code+Coverage+for+Secret+Management+Service

Above link has information about code coverage of SMS.
Also, it has information about code coverage for any golang based applications.

We will send C/C++ based code coverage tools we have used in my next email
(once I collect all the information in a wiki page).

Thanks

Dear Team,

This is a reminder that CLM jobs are still being worked on.

The JJB chnanges to support the new plugin are merged :

I am testing the new plugin now but looks like we might require a Nexus IQ

straight forward. I am looking into this right now.

Please remember that you can still access https://nexus-iq.wl.

Thanks a ton for your patience.

Hello everyone,

This topic was discussed on today’s PTL call. I am resending email so you
don’t have to dig for it.
Please provide your feedback if you’re in agreement or if you have any
questions.
The goal is to align on a single workflow in ONAP.

Also, another topic raised during PTL call, but not part of the attached
proposal, but I wanted to note it here:

• We should align on the set of Jira issue types that will be used
across the projects to ensure issues don’t fall through the cracks.

• Today, most projects use: Epics, Stories (& sub-tasks available
within story), Tasks, Bugs

• There are some projects that also use New Feature

• What is the set we want to support for ONAP projects?

Thanks, Randa

Greetings PTLs,

One of the items in the Beijing Retrospective was confusion over the two
separate Jira workflows in play today.
I would like to submit the following for consideration to align on ONE Jira
workflow. This is low hanging fruit and an easy enough change to implement to
progress on addressing one of the concerns raised during Lesson’s Learned
discussions.

I believe the attached workflow is flexible enough to handle the uniqueness of
ONAP as well as not introduce overhead for teams.

Please review attached slides and provide your +1 if you agree to the proposal.

Thanks,
Randa

Thanks,
Randa
