Re: [onap-discuss] A&AI schema model visualization tool

2018-11-02 Thread CT Paterson
Hey Pavel,

I think there could be a lot of value in that. My thoughts are more from a
solution/implementation than requirements side - but I've long held the
best way to start getting a visual representation of the schema and edges
is to separate the schema from the OXM format...perhaps transform it into a
format that already has an off-the-shelf viewer we could leverage.

I've been noodling with something that could turn the OXM into JSON (just
for simpler deserialization for code to operate on the schema); I wonder if
I can adapt that to turn the OXM into GraphQL and then leverage a viewer
like https://apis.guru/graphql-voyager/ (opens up a lot of other
possibilities, too).

Cheers.

[onap-discuss] Upcoming Calendar Management Changes - Effective Nov. 19th

2018-11-02 Thread Kenny Paul

(Bcc'd to onap-discuss)

This is just an FYI at this time- There is currently no action for you to take
beyond replying to meeting invites.

For more than a year the community has requested management of the ONAP
calendar. I will be working on meeting requests almost exclusively for the rest
of today and probably most of the weekend. This includes changes related to the
items on the bullet list below.

I have a massive backlog of outstanding meeting update requests. I know that
some of the dates have already passed for some of these. If you have been
inconvenienced by this, my apologies.

I discovered on Wednesday that all of the original distribution lists were
removed when the ONAP G-Cal was moved outside of the LF firewall. Many of the
updates/cancellations that I have made and pushed over the past month were not
actually sent out as invites. All 50+ of our weekly meetings will be updated
and corrected.

To complete the transition of the ONAP calendar to the community, the following
changes to calendar management are being undertaken:

I will continue to manage the calendar/zoom for TSC meetings and DDF events as
I have always done.
All subcommittee Chairs, Vice-Chairs, and Community Coordinators will be
granted calendar access and shall be responsible for the ownership of their own
meetings, including the responsibility for any zoom changes that may be
required for their meetings.
PTLs with more than one meeting a week will be granted calendar access and
shall be responsible for the ownership of their own meetings, including the
responsibility for any zoom changes that may be required for their meetings.
The calendar function in groups.io will be used going forward which has a
number of benefits due to its integration with the mailing lists.
 i. The TSC,
Subcommittees and any projects with their own mailing list will utilize the
calendar function within that associated list.

 ii. For the
remaining meetings, the calendar function within the onap-discuss list will be
used.

   iii. All of
these will be subscribed to by the onap calendar on the wiki for a single
consolidated view of all meetings

   iv. The ONAP
G-Cal will be retired
Xu Yang, Michael O'Brien and any additional volunteers as well as PTLs with
multiple meetings will be added as moderators to onap-discuss for the purpose
of calendar management exclusively. (All standard moderator notifications will
be disabled for these individuals)
A new mailing list for calendar support requests will be created to which the
community calendar managers will be subscribed
All of the above will be documented, linked in the wiki and socialized, with
HOW-TOs available, before I turn over the responsibility to the community.
The hand off goal is Nov. 19th.

I am sure that some of you have questions, if you do, please ask them here so
that I can simply transition it into an FAQ.

https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Calendar+Transition+to+groups.io

Have a great weekend!

Best Regards,
-kenny

[onap-discuss] Use cases and functional requirements for Dublin - the status

2018-11-02 Thread Alla Goldner
Hi all,

Yesterday we passed the deadline of Service Providers submitting their
requirements for Dublin:
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/SP+priorities+for+Dublin

We still have almost 2 weeks for providing use case/functional requirements as
a candidates for Dublin.
As agreed next 2 Use case subcommittee meetings will be dedicated to review of
those requirements (meeting were extended to 2 hours).
Would be good if you let me know in advance if/wen you plan to present your
requirements.

Best regards,

Alla Goldner

Re: [onap-discuss] Expired self-signed certificate in VESCollector keystore #dcaegen2

2018-11-02 Thread Vijay VK
Hi Sandra,
The self-signed certificates should be not be used (they were included early on
for local testing and needs to be removed).

In R3 the VES collector default configuration (driven from blueprint) are
disabled for HTTPS support. But we do have AAF certificates including VES
service SAN's and can be used for custom deployments. The VES blueprint
requires changes to enable TLS distribution (and collector configuration to
point to tls distribution). You can find information on TLS support in DCAE
deployment here -
https://onap.readthedocs.io/en/latest/submodules/dcaegen2.git/docs/sections/tls_enablement.html.
Under this deployment the clients can use AAF root CA for SSL handshake with
VESCollector.

For R4 - the plan is to enable to mutual cert-based authentication via
AAF/CADI; but this has dependency on overall ONAP solution on how certificates
will be managed within ONAP and external (xNF). This will need some further
discussion with SEC-COM team in coming weeks.

Regards,
Vijay

Hi all,

recently I needed to test SSL connection to VESCollector by allowing my java
client to send notifications to VES via HTTPS but I noticed in VESCollector's
keystore resides expired self-signed certificate.

I wanted to ask DCAEGEN2 team (mainly Vijaj and Tony), if you have any plans
regarding replacing expired certificate with renewed one or introduce AAF
integration so as to enable using AAF root CA for clients?

[onap-discuss] All unit tests fail due to OpenJDK bug on Ubuntu 18.04

2018-11-02 Thread Liam Fallon
Hi All,

I observed the error below on all unit tests this morning. It seems to be due
to a bug in the latest version of the OpenJDK compiler on Ubuntu 18.04. See:
See the following Stack Overflow article:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/53010200/maven-surefire-could-not-find-forkedbooter-clas
and the first answer on the same article.

The workaround that worked for me was to downgrade the compiler version to
openjdk-8-jdk=8u162-b12-1

As root:
dpkg -l | grep openjdk

Remove all openjdk packages

apt remove --purge openjdk-8-jdk
apt remove --purge openjdk-8-jdk-headless
apt remove --purge openjdk-8-jre
apt remove --purge openjdk-8-jre-headless

Now install the previous version of OpenJDK
apt install openjdk-8-jre-headless=8u162-b12-1
apt install openjdk-8-jre=8u162-b12-1
apt install openjdk-8-jdk-headless=8u162-b12-1
apt install openjdk-8-jdk=8u162-b12-1

Now your unit tests should run again.

I have documented this workaround on the ONAP wiki at:
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Setting+Up+Your+Development+Environment

Best Regards
Liam

[onap-discuss] A&AI schema model visualization tool

2018-11-02 Thread Pavel Paroulek

Hi all,

we would like to continue working on the A&AI model (schema)
visualization tool because the AAI model (schema) is complex and is
subject to change.

In order to gather requirements for the tool I reach out to the
community for feedback. If anyone works/worked with the A&AI model
(schema) and is willing to share his experience I would be glad to talk
to him/her. This experience would in turn be used as valuable input for
our requirements. Any experience and/or thoughts are highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Pavel

Re: [onap-discuss] [aai] Standalone AAI UI

2018-11-02 Thread Arul Nambi
Hi Chandra,
Are you which version of sparky are you using? If you using the one from
master, then you should be able to disable the portal profile from
application.properties in backend. This will make sure that you are not
redirected to portal for authentication.
Regards
Arul

Subject: [onap-discuss] [aai] Standalone AAI UI

Hi,
I am trying to access the standalone UI of AAI with below URL-

http://http://%3cAAI> IP address>:9517/services/aai/webapp/index.html

However; it is pointing to

http://portal.api.simpledemo.onap.org:8989/ONAPPORTAL/login.htm

Is there any way to disable this redirection?

[onap-discuss] [VNFSDK] VNFSDK New Weekly Meeting time

2018-11-02 Thread gaoweitao
Hi VNFSDK folks,

Per Moshe request: Israel colleague
don't work Fridays (work Sundays instead). We need change our weekly meeting
time: now is every Friday 1:00PM (UTC+0).

To avoid the conflict with related projects meeting(VNF
Requirements/VVP/Modeling/ARC/Usecase/PTL meeting), I create the a doodle poll
for our new weekly meeting time.

Initial Option is here:

[onap-discuss] [aai]Problems Encountered During AAI Docker Installation

2018-11-02 Thread Guangrong Fu
Hi Jimmy & the AAI team,

As you know I'm doing some testing on AAI queries. To accelerate, I want to set
up my own AAI environment. Thus I followed the instructions here:
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/How+to+Docker+setup+on+Single+VM

I've also tried all solutions in the FAQ section, but my problem seemed not to
be encountered by others before.

When I tried to start AAI, an exception regarding the AAIGraph module arose:
