George,

I would look for the TM-T88IV drivers on this page:

I hope that's helpful!

Hi

Here at Beaufort we use the Epson TM-88IV as a network printer. You have to
purchase a separate network interface for them but it works well with evergreen.

I'm wondering if anyone on this group has had any experience and luck with
getting Evergreen to work with their Epson TM-T88IV receipt printer. Our new
computers don't have the 32-pin LPT port, and the USB adapter I bought isn't
working with the latest drivers from Epson.
(Right now, the printer is shared from an old workstation that is only on the
network for that purpose.)

Thanks in Advance!

While we use the TM-T88IV, ours are also Ethernet or USB. However, we
have other printers using USB to Parallel adapters under Win7. In those
cases, to get the drivers working correctly, we've needed to create a
Windows share for the printer and capture the LPT port via a "net use"
statement.

   e.g. net use LPT1: \\\ /PERSISTENT:YES

Then set the printer up to use the "DOS LPT1" print strategy.

[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Google Hangout for Inventory

2013-07-25 Thread Rogan Hamby
I've had some interest in asking question about the potential inventory
project that I'm looking for funding partners on. I've answered questions
as best I can by email and IRC so far but I thought doing a hangout might
be fun. So, I'm going to send out a doodle poll later this week to those
who are interested and I will host a google hangout at the best time we can
find to answer questions. Rather than spam everyone I'm going to send the
poll to those who have expressed interest already and anyone else who pings
me and says they are interested.

I don't have a script for this but based on discussions so far things we
might discuss involve workflows (this is something that we can spend a lot
of time on because not everyone does inventories identically), the process
at this point, funding goals, and plenty more.

[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] MFHD editing in 2.2 - "unsaved"? display not refreshed?

2013-07-25 Thread Michele Montague

I'm fairly new to MFHD and have encountered two persistent problems.

"This window may have unsaved data.  Close it anyway?" appears often
(though not always!) after I edit a MFHD record, click "Save MHFD",
and close the window.

If I close it anyway, then re-open, my changes *are* there.  I could
live with this, but wonder if it ties into the bigger issue below.

Usually, when I make changes in a MFHD record (specifically the 863
tag), the "Issues Held" display does not reflect them.  I've tried
"reload", clearing cache, logging out of the client and back in, and
still the public display does not display the changed date.  It only
displays "Holdings summary (Main)".  The data that was there before
is gone, and the new data is not displaying.

Any hints about how I can troubleshoot this?
