Experience:

In-depth knowledge and experience in IOS, Routing protocols, and

Looking for an experienced, motivated Business Analyst to work on a small,
fast-paced team at the world's premiere investment bank, You will be working
on a team developing securities trading systems. Tasks include researching
option trading venue features, documenting feature requirements and mapping
features to FIX message elements.

 

Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and
documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more
user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support,
maintenance or enhancement of existing applications, Works closely with
client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and
processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes
recommendations. 

 

The successful candidate will:
Have 5+ years BA experience - strong Trading experience is essential .Be
willing to work hard and learn new systems .Be able to work independently
with minimal supervision .Be able to contribute as a key team member .Have
good oral and written skills 

 

Desirable skills include:
FIX Protocol expertise
Equities trading knowledge

 

Other useful skills include:

data classification
and sub-typing
• Hands-on technical experience in the following areas or similar
technologies:
• Erwin or other data modeling tools
• Oracle or other databases: Sybase, DB/2, My SQL
• Proficient in SQL to navigate through complex physical data
model
• Preferred prior experience and functional knowledge in Reference
Data specializing in institutional client on boarding process including
client,
sub account, standing settlement instruction and document management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to
document and present data models, strategies, standards, and concepts to
both
business and IT audiences

Candidates MUST have experience with Findur, Murex, Summit, or Calypso
specifically with extensive knowledge within SWAPS. My customer uses
Interest Rate Swaps, Total Return Swaps, Credit Default Swaps and Currency
Rate Swaps. The two production BA roles will entail working with Traders and
Operational teams to deal with enhancements, report requests, systems issues
etc. and the one BA/QA role will be specific to an IAS (International
Accounting Standard) project as my customer is looking to get their Canadian
subsidiary companies compliant with IAS proctices and industry standard.
Candidates must have strong documentation and communication skills as well
as prior experience in creating test cases/scripts and executing. Candidates
must have middle to back end processing knowledge and accounting knowledge.

*Description:* The Business Analyst/Consultant IV (Program Plan Manager)
reporting to the CIO will work with the PMO Manager and other Senior
Managers to consolidate and maintain all the program documentation and work
plan and schedules. Will work to develop and maintain a Program Management
Plan and comprehensive work plans and schedules. Will maintaining all key
Program documentation and schedules including Program Charter, Program
Scope, Program consolidated work plans and schedules. The Program Plan
Manager will work with the PMO Manager to resolve project schedule conflicts

various projects and initiatives. The Program Plan Manager will serve as the
key liaison with the cost management staff to coordinate the flow of

Program's cost management systems. Will attend informational meetings on
behalf of the CIO/Program Manger to assure that information and
communication about eCourt Program activities continue to flow appropriately
at all levels. The Program Plan Manager has the authority to make and
document many mid-level decisions as well as identify decisions requiring
activity by the CIO/Program Manager or executive sponsors. The Program Plan
Manager monitors and reports organization's progress that outlines target to
actuals, identifying organizations requiring implementer aid. Facilitate the
development of project scope definitions. Report progress on programs
budget, schedules and resources. Report risks and possible contingency
plans. Facilitate team, conduct team meetings, develop tasks, and assign
roles and responsibilities. Motivate and coordinate others within the
program. Explain business and technical objectives, strategies. Provide
information regarding the business and technology impact of the program.
Help the organization move forward with migration progress. Assess progress
and work issues and risks.



*Responsibilities  Deliverables:*

   - Consolidate and maintain all program documentation and schedule.
   - Serve as liaison with *Business and Fiscal Services* to coordinate flow
   of information and data.
   - Attend meetings to assure information and communication flow
   appropriately at all levels.
   - Update documents and Schedules on Project Server
   - Must be able to multi-task in an orderly manner
   - Experience working on a *large scale project* providing and maintaining
   documents and schedules within a PMO structure and *overseeing a document
