Can the GoogleTalk Translation bots work with OpenMeetings Chat
I realized that the primary function of OpenMeetings is not the chat function, but I thought I would ask my question anyway: Has anyone come up with a way to incorporate the Google Translation Bot function into the chats? This way, if the user couldn´t understand the target language, I thought there might be a way to use the Google API to give OpenMeetings the translation function that Google Talk uses. If you are not sure what I am talking about, here is a link of how GoogleTalk manages the translation in an automated manner. http://ischool.tv/googleapps/2007/12/18/google-talk-translation-bots/ In a group discussion, a member of the audience may be able to understand English, but may have difficulty writing it. If they could write in their own language and then have it automatically translated, this would be a cool feature. Re: Bad rooms_id value
Before changing red5 to the red5 r3200 I used the red5.0.6.3 without any problem, then, all ports are correctly opened. Do you change anything before building this version (config of the red5, or other ) ?? I don't have any idea :( :( On 19 déc, 20:03, "Sebastian Wagner" wrote: > I think by default fedora has a firewall active, you have to add the red5 > ports (1935, 5080, 8088) to the trusted ports. > You should find help for that in a Fedora community. > > sebastian > > 2008/12/19 Steph > > > > > of course :), but sincerely, I don't know ! Audio/Video test prior to entering conference
We have OpenMeetings installed and working. We are finding a lot of the students (non-moderator participants), have trouble getting their microphone and video working before they get into the conference. This means that we spend a good amount of the conference trying to troubleshoot their audio/video. This is a challenge since our teachers are not technology experts. Has anyone implemented a solution to ask users to install and test at least their audio prior to entering a session? The example that occurs to me, is the way that Skype has a "test call" where the user can call Skype, record a message, and then the message is played back to the user. If the user can hear their own voice played back to them, then perfect. Has this been implemented? Does anyone know of a solution that could solve this problem? I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OpenMeetings User" group. Re: Bad rooms_id value
I think by default fedora has a firewall active, you have to add the red5 ports (1935, 5080, 8088) to the trusted ports. You should find help for that in a Fedora community. sebastian 2008/12/19 Steph > > of course :), but sincerely, I don't know !
