[openmeetings-user] Re: Upload my profile image fails

2011-11-15 Thread ShanghaiTimes
I can do this directly from the command line (CMD)

C:\_ convert.exe -thumbnail 240x240 C:
\Progra~1\openmeetings_1_8_8_r4555\red5\webapps\openmeetings\upload
\profiles\profile_1\me_1_200x150_1.jpg C:
\Progra~1\openmeetings_1_8_8_r4555\red5\webapps\openmeetings\upload
\profiles\profile_1\_big_me_1_200x150_1.jpg

and it works, creating the copy of the original as a thumbnail.

Now - how to upload it into the profile

Re: [openmeetings-user] Upload my profile image fails

2011-11-15 Thread Robert Chalmers
This works
copy.bat
-
convert.exe -thumbnail 240x240 "C:\Program
Files\openmeetings_1_8_8_r4555\red5\webapps\openmeetings\upload\profiles\profile_1\me_1_200x150_1.jpg"
"C:\Program

Files\openmeetings_1_8_8_r4555\red5\webapps\openmeetings\upload\profiles\profile_1\_big_me_1_200x150_1.jpg"
exit
-

That C:\Program Files\ path has to be escaped.

What is it that generates the file in t he first place?
Thanks
Robert

The batch files contain C:\Program Files\

[openmeetings-user] persistence.xml and mysql-persistence.xml have errors and corruptions.

2011-11-15 Thread ShanghaiTimes
Tracking this baby down.
I did a diff on p*ersistence* and *mysql-persistence* and discovered that
the mysql-persistence.xml file was corrupted. I opened it in Notepad which
doesn't change anything. No wordwrapping etc, and it appeared to be fine.
However, in diff, it showed considerable difference to the head of the
"comes-with-openmeetings" persistence file. I tidied it up in the diff
engine so now it looks ok. The DIFF program is Windows, "Beyond Compare 3"
... oh how I miss Unix.
It may well have been corrupted by either the download or the text editor I
used (TextPad) or Gremlins ...

Carefully waded through both files, and in p*ersistence.xml*, the line
create=true appears twice in succession.

Url=jdbc:derby:openmeetings;*create=true*,
  *create=true*,
  MaxActive=100,

Anyway, to cut a long story short - I replaced the persistence.xml with the
mysql-persistence.xml, ran red5.bat, did
localhost:5080/openmeetings/install and after a time - up it came.

So theoretically I'm now using the mysql engine.

[openmeetings-user] mini calendar in Calendar section.

2011-11-15 Thread ssrJazz
I'm sure this has probably been discussed before, but I can't seem to
find a solution in the search for this group.

I'm logged into my openmeetings server (now running 1.8, was running
1.6). The mini calendar insists that today is WED November 15. Last
I checked, everything else said today was tuesday. It seems the mini
calendar is a day of the week off.

Any fixes?

You should also specify if you're using ADS or openLDAP or other LDAP
