[tickets] [opensaf:tickets] #127 LOG: Logsv to generate alarm if Root directory not existing
- **Milestone**: future -- never --- ** [tickets:#127] LOG: Logsv to generate alarm if Root directory not existing** **Status:** duplicate **Milestone:** never **Created:** Mon May 13, 2013 08:55 AM UTC by elunlen **Last Updated:** Fri Aug 02, 2013 01:08 PM UTC **Owner:** nobody Today it is assumed that the Log root directory always exist, and if it doesn't, logsv just exits causing cyclical restarts. This enhancement should handle the problem with logsv process restarts and also alert the administrator that the root path doesn't exist. When the root path doesn't exist, logsv should use the default root path as root path (and create its directories if needed), then issue an alarm that the root path doesn't exist. --- Sent from sourceforge.net because opensaf-tickets@lists.sourceforge.net is subscribed to https://sourceforge.net/p/opensaf/tickets/ To unsubscribe from further messages, a project admin can change settings at https://sourceforge.net/p/opensaf/admin/tickets/options.
