Adding entries to menu bar in Trac requires a plugin and is not doable through the web. I added it as the first entry in the menu and also moved tags more to the front. [opensc-devel] wiki
Hi! Added http://www.opensc-project.org/opensc/wiki/UseGerrit I have also inserted a reference to it in GetInvolved. It have very few information and looks horrible. This is how far I could push it. Please help out with it. I think that it would be a good idea to put the GetInvolved page to the header between Roadmap and Browse Source, but don't know how, and did not want to make such a big change without discussion. ___ opensc-devel mailing list opensc-devel@lists.opensc-project.org http://www.opensc-project.org/mailman/listinfo/opensc-devel

The diagrams are made with OmniGraffle on OS X, because it is really easy to use and makes beautiful shapes. I'll see if I can find the source file or re-create the .graffle and attach it to the wiki as well. [opensc-devel] wiki passwords can be changed now
Hi, I changed the opensc server configuration: you can now change your wiki password once you are logged in. In theory spammers could now again register new accounts, but as I redirected all /opensc/register (and co) links, that should not be possible. Lets see if the new configuration works better for us. Feedback is always welcome. Regards, Andreas ___ opensc-devel mailing list opensc-devel@lists.opensc-project.org http://www.opensc-project.org/mailman/listinfo/opensc-devel
[opensc-devel] wiki/bug tracker registration
Hi, I tried to document the wiki registration issue and let people know what to do. there is a new page /register.html and I added rules to the apache configuration to rewrite /.../register to /register.html can someone proof read the text (web page or source in the /svn/web/trunk svn)? any suggestions for improvements etc? also if anyone here has experience with the trac spam filter and mod security, maybe we can evaluate these once more as a better solution to keep spam outside the wiki. help or suggestions how to implement that or pitfalls to avoid would be great! I fixed repository_path, name, desc, version and default component, but if I forgot anything, some setting might have been lost. if you find any config error, please let me know so I can fix it. I can even copy the plugins to /usr/share/trac/plugins and delete them from each trac installations plugins/ dir, and still the difference exists. ouch. I'm out of luck, no idea why it fails now. the file that cannot be found is in the accountmanager egg (else you wouldn't have that login link and the form), but trac only finds the htpasswd implementation sometimes for some configuations. will play around with it and try random tweaks, maybe one works, also I will try to get support on the trac user mailing list. thanks for reporting the problem. after hours and hours I thought it was finally working (and I tried at least openct and opensc and they worked), and since I didn't change anything :( Regards, Andreas ___ opensc-devel mailing list opensc-devel@lists.opensc-project.org http://www.opensc-project.org/mailman/listinfo/opensc-devel

[opensc-devel] wiki working again?
Hi, trac gave me a lot of headaches - part of the debian sarge -> etch update was also a trac update to 0.10.*. Initially I forgot to update the plugins, now I did that, but they don't work as expected (or have strange "featured" - e.g. only some files within the *.egg are found if the plugin is in /usr/share/trac/plugins, but all files are found if the plugin is copied (not symlinked) into each trac installtion plugin/ directory. very strange.) also if I run opensc in apache with mod_python, then for some reason apache tries to rewrite opensc into opensc.css and doesn't find it. why? I have no clue. wait. mod_negotiation is the culprit, turned it off, now /opensc/ works too. no idea if this has any other bad side effects, I hope not. any way, now the web site and all wiki/trac parts should be back working fine, please test and let me know if you still have any problem. thanks, Andreas ___ opensc-devel mailing list opensc-devel@lists.opensc-project.org http://www.opensc-project.org/mailman/listinfo/opensc-devel
[opensc-devel] wiki now free of spam (I hope)
Hi everyone, I wrote a script to export all wiki pages in all versions, look for keywords in it and delete all versions of a page with those keywords. Now we have 502 revisions less in our wikis, but I hope all spam is gone. If you find any spam, please do not edit the page and delete the lines. Instead: a) delete that version (I can create an account for you so you will have permission to do that). b) send a mail to me with the link, so I can have a look and add that new keyword to my script. if you recently edited something, please check if it is still there. if not, please notify me, I have a full backup and can restore your change. I tried to look through all those changes I removed, but at 502 revisions and most diffs about 200 to 1000 lines I can't. I will now run the script every time someone reports new spam, or maybe even daily or more often. of course scanning for spam all the time is not a nice future, and I hope we don't get false positives, but that could be possible. I will try to update to latest trac version, which has a user management. with that version you will need to create an account before editing something. I don't like those account idea, but with this much spamming I see no alternative. as an alternative you can any time send an email to opensc-devel or opensc-user mailing list if something is wrong or could be improved. I hope that I cought all spam and deleted no content and thus the wiki documentation is usable for you again. if I missed something, please let me know.
