[orkut-developer] Re: Profile View not working in orkut, but works fine in sandbox
my app is not picking up 'persistent data' in PROFILE VIEW in production, but picking it up in PROFILE VIEW in sandbox as always, i guess it will take 2 weeks for orkut team to pick this issue up, and then 2 weeks to fix it. i am just beyond disappointed On Oct 15, 9:03 am, Bruno Guerreiro webtunel...@gmail.com wrote: Hello, I threw it in production already do 48 hours, and the persistent data (using the OS Templates) does not work on the Profile View, but everything works perfectly when tested in the sandbox and prodsandbox. Re: [orkut-developer] using more than the each() function for viewer and owner friends: viewerFriends.each()
Hi, Just to clarify, Orkut uses Shindig - which is an opensocial container - to allow users to develop and run social apps on it. Shindig is responsible for the api´s you are talking about. More info:http://shindig.apache.org/ http://shindig.apache.org/I dont know if there is a detailed documentation for each function available. In my case, everytime I need to understand what is available, get the source code and read. Maybe not the easiest way to go, but in the other hand, give me a deep understanding about what happens behind the scene. Example: gadgets.io implementation: http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/shindig/trunk/features/src/main/javascript/features/core.io/io.js http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/shindig/trunk/features/src/main/javascript/features/core.io/io.js Regards, Robson Dantas 2010/10/14 DevenH dev...@gmail.com It is great that orkut provides us with an each() function to use when we get back viewerFriends or ownerFriends, but what other methods are available? for example, is there a: viewerFriends.push() or viewerFriends.pop()? I tried the above but they did not work. when i am testing scenarios where users of my app have very few friends or many friends i would like to manipulate the data returned after i do a newFetchPeopleRequest to retrieve owner or viewer friends. i'm bit of a newbie, so i apologize if there is an easy way to do this. thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups orkut Developer Forum group. [orkut-developer] Application terms not being translated?
It seems the terms and conditions displayed when adding an application to your profile are not being translated into the proper language. Is this dependant on which language is identified within the gadget.xml? Any help is appreciated – thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups orkut Developer Forum group.
