It seems out of too many choices that that's the only one that will do a PDF
here. Thanks!

All memory slots are populated.

The self test page reports 10240k bytes.
The PostScript Configuration page reports:
6273724 bytes Global VM
5487616 bytes Local VM
1048576 bytes Display List
35 bytes Font Cache max
71136 bytes Font Cache current
10 bytes Form Cache max
10 bytes Pattern Cache max
12 bytes Screen Storage max

YaST reports:
Printer Model - HP LaserJet 4MP
PPD file - HP LaserJet 4MP v2013.103 Postscript (recommended)

The PDF file is 32444 bytes:
http://images10.newegg.com/UploadFilesForNewegg/rebate/SH/Antec17-371-005Nov15Nov30lt12.pdf
from: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371005

Doesn't seem like such a small document should be a problem. How much RAM is
enough?

[opensuse] 10.2 - printing sorta works

2007-11-30 Thread Felix Miata
My printer is a LaserJet 4M with PS on ethernet. Printing a test page with
YaST, or web pages with FF, SM & Konq all work, but no matter what app I use
to try to print a PDF, the online and form feed lights do their thing, but
after a while stop without ever printing anything. Anyone know what to look for?
