I search for it, but could not find it anymore. Only the aarch64 version is
available for RPi3. I am using that one. Tested 42.2 and Tumbleweed. Now using
Tumbleweed. Still no support for bluetooth and WiFi.

openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-JeOS-raspberrypi2.armv7l-2017.05.23-Build1.6.raw.xz
also doesn't run on rpi3.

Issue here that I don't see anything on rs232 console and cannot find
the reason. As far as I understand, u-boot 2017.05 should support both
serial ports correctly.

It was the idea at some point, but that has never been implemented. so
no right now it will not work.

openSUSE-Leap42.2-ARM-JeOS-raspberrypi2 with u-boot-rpi332b also doesn't
work. What could be the reason?

Greetings,
Dirk

Have you set skip-init as instructed in the commit message?

While it is not the main objective of the patch, as a side effect
it enables the uart autodetection for all RPi models, so it might
fix this case as well.

I agree that this should probably be fixed :). Patches are more than
welcome!

as far as I can tell this is the usual issue with uboot that it really
