[opnfv-tech-discuss] [doctor] Meeting time

2018-03-23 Thread Juvonen, Tomi (Nokia - FI/Espoo)
Hi Doctors,

As of the summits and Easter our next meeting would be April 9th

Meantime daylight savings makes it so that the meeting time is not so good at
least for me. As the active members in meetings have come from Far East and
Europe we have earlier fixed the time to 11:00 UTC. Based on this assumption
will remain valid I have added voting for new time to our meeting page starting
from line 12:
https://etherpad.opnfv.org/p/doctor_meetings

Please add other times if none is feasible for you. In case hard to have
winning time let's use this mail thread to discuss further.

Br,
Tomi

[opnfv-tech-discuss] [doctor] Fraser coming

2018-03-23 Thread Juvonen, Tomi (Nokia - FI/Espoo)
Hi Doctors,

I have updated the Doctor key release updates here:
  https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/SWREL/Fraser+Release+Key+Updates

Also we should have the stable branch for Fraser soon and for me it means
before Easter as on holiday then. Might be nice to get these in:
  https://gerrit.opnfv.org/gerrit/54087 support MCP installer
  https://gerrit.opnfv.org/gerrit/54161 optimize the fault notification
test
There is also the maintenance test case under review still. Do not know if we
are able to get it in, but the work surely continues after Fraser:
  https://gerrit.opnfv.org/gerrit/53275 add maintenance test code
https://gerrit.opnfv.org/gerrit/50735 add setup and cleanup for
maintenance test

OCP and ONS summit demo video and slides are updated in Doctor wiki:
Infrastructure Maintenance & Upgrade: Zero VNF Downtime with OPNFV Doctor
on OCP Hardware. OCP and ONS summit (March 2018) demo
video
slides

Tomi

Hello,

python-apt is available on Ubuntu xenial [1] so I don't think this is a
problem with XCI. Are you trying this on 16.04 and are your repos
configured properly?
