Re: Autoextend on Oracle 7.3.4.5.0
It's possible they were, I never worked in 7.2. However, I have a real, honest-to-goodness hard-bound book of the Oracle7 SQL Reference manual (7.0) and the clause autoexend is not in there. So we've narrowed down the time when autoextend was introduced. Rachel --- Mogens_Nørgaard [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I think they were introduced in 7.2? RE: Autoextend on Oracle 7.3.4.5.0
not a patch, just that sys.filext$ isn't created until at least one datafile has been made autoextensible. Once you do that, it stays around and you can check that table to find out which datafiles can extend. If it's there, it can. sys.filext$ still exists in 9i, I just checked :) --- Jacques Kilchoer [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Actually autoextend datafiles were available in Oracle 7.3.4.
