This position will perform database installs, maintenance, code deployments,

Teller system a Paper that follows model, with a Branch Image Capture solution. 
The current solution utilizes direct connections to the Mainframe for 
processing and is very simple in design.  The BIC Teller solution while more

The solution is complex from the dependency on local hardware (3 new devices) 
at every workstation to a robust mid-tier (over 60 servers) connected via MQ to 
the Mainframe. In order to meet the demands on the RTO/RPO and criticality of 
this system requires an expansion of our Application Support team.  Bunker 
Teller today is a RTo 5 RPO of NA compared to a RTO 1 RPO 1 of BIC Teller. 



An expansion that will require in depth knowledge of ARGO and Profitstars 
solutions which builds on a deep wintel, SQL, Oracle RAC, Authentication 
device, Digital Check Scanner, Ithace 280, SSIS,SSAS and SSRS technologies. 
Troubleshooting will often require hands on the physical device and physical 
items that are part of the transaction.



Responsibilities:  

· Troubleshooting will often require hands on the physical device and 
physical items that are part of the transaction. Current job also includes 
manual installation and configuration of workstations and devices in the lab on 
a daily basis. 

· This allows a faster test cycle and issue resolution while the 
automations for installation will be tested on a limited number of workstations 
3 days later.   This same environment will be leveraged for production issues.

  Primary Job Responsibilities
 The new BI platform will be constructed on best-of-breed tools, developed 
with a blended team of onshore/offshore resources and be designed with the

  This hands-on senior developer position will be in the Products and 
Technology Group and will play a key role in the design, development and 
testing of data integration components.


  Responsibilities include:
  ' Perform hands-on design, development and testing of data integration 
(ETL) components utilizing established ETL tools
  ' Perform peer reviews of designs, test results and code
  ' Research and analyze various data source systems and applications and 
perform data research/analysis as required to meet client requirements
  ' Support ETL design, development and testing estimations based business 
requirements and research into data that is currently sourced
  ' Perform data analysis with a focus on data quality using data profiling 
methodologies and tools
  ' Perform defect/problem analysis and make recommendations as required
  ' Define and/or support data model customizations to support data 
integration/ETL processing.
  ' Perform appropriate levels of unit, integration and performance testing
  ' Supports requirements definition and contributes to documentation of 
project and system documentation
  ' Adhere to established development lifecycle processes and procedures
 
  Job Requirements
 ' 4-6 years experience with established ETL/Data Integration tool (ie 
Informatica, Talend, DataStage). Experience with open source tools (Talend) a 
plus
  ' Full life-cycle development experience in Data Warehousing and ETL/Data 
Integration projects.
  ' Understanding of various ETL related concepts such as scheduling, 
restart/recovery and error handling
  ' Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and balance work based 
on priority
  ' 4-6 years experience with Data Warehousing
  ' Understanding of issues regarding Data quality and how to resolve those 
issues
  ' 2+ years Linux/Unix experience, including scripting, version control 
(SVN preferred), etc.
  ' Strong understanding of dimensional (star/snowflake) data modeling 
concepts, SQL, query optimization
  ' Experience with various data source types including XML, Messaging, 
Database and Flat files
  ' Experience with Java and Java scripting as part of ETL processing and 
tool (i.e. Talend) preferred
  ' Strong experience with relational database technologies supporting data 
warehouses/BI reporting (specific Netezza and mysql experience is preferred but 
not required)
  ' Excellent written and verbal communicate skills with both technical and 
non-technical staff

Description:

-  Primary duties will include, but not be limited to, analysis, development, 
implementation, and support of data warehouse initiatives, using IBM Cognos 
10.x BI platform on Oracle RDBMS or MS SQL.

-  Business Intelligence methodologies, along with experience in the 
implementation of Enterprise Data Warehousing data integration, data staging 
and the real-time updating of data warehouses. 

-  Perform data analysis and design of ETL, Cognos framework model and document 
information flows using templates and interface document specifications for 
both internal and vendor-provided systems and tools.

-  Experience in design, implementation and support of Enterprise class 
Business Intelligence applications using IBM Cognos 

-  Proficient in PL/SQL and Data Warehousing design and techniques using Oracle 
RDBMS and MS SQL 

-  Proficient with IBM Cognos Authoring Studios to create comprehensive 
business dashboards and reports.  

-  Hands on experience with implementation of database schemas and stored 
procedures.

-  Ability to provide database optimization and performance tuning guidance and 
support. 

-  Experience with Active Server Pages (ASP), Microsoft IIS, COM, Visual
