at the start, a treasurer should be ok. i think this is one of the roles under ahli lembaga koperasi. if there is continuous work, then employ an admin & accounts clerk. They are responsible to manage coop's financial matters; able to do account statement, balance sheet, etc as well as cash budget for KOSTEM. Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera, Hari ini saya menerima khabar dari seorang rakan kita. Dugaan hidupnya banyak, hilang kerja dan hilang segalanya. Ini bukan pertama kali saya mendengar cerita sedih begini. Ada rakan-rakan kita yang berhutang bank, makmal latihan tidak berjaya :( ada yang berhutang kerana modal pusingan, dan bayaran yang terima lambat, ada yang tidak dapat bekerja kerana tidak sihat, dan pelbagai lagi. Satu masa dahulu saya wujudkan network hubungan antara freelancers OSS yang kami namakan MOSCA. Malaysia Open Source Software Consultant Alliance (MOSCA) yang bertujuan untuk berkongsi kepakaran dan hubungan bagi mencari rezeki sesama OSS freelancers. Yang paling utama menjadi badan bertindak kepada mana-mana pihak yang tidak membuat bayaran kepada freelancers. Kemudian dengan wujudkanya OSDC.my dan semakin rapat kita dalam komuniti OSS, ianyanya dianggap mencapai matlamat dan matlamat diatas dikongsi dalam OSDC.my dan komuniti OSS. Saya melihat KOSTEM adalah untuk kebajikan kita semua terutamanya mereka yang mencari sumber rezeki melalui freelancing. Mana-mana koperasi yang diwujudkan adalah untuk kebajikan ahli. Kemudahan yang disediakan adalah untuk membantu ahli dalam menjayakan pelbagai perkara. Antara contoh :- 1) Diskaun bagi perkakasan dan perkhidmatan sesama ahli koperasi 2) Kelas dan latihan kepimpinan, perniagaan, motivasi dan kepakaran tertentu dengan harga patut kepada ahli. 3) Kemudahan pinjaman untuk perkakasan, jika koperasi lain sediakan kemudahan pinjaman kenderaan, kita mungkin untuk perkakasan komputer. 4) Pinjaman pelajaran untuk persijilan khas seperti RHCE dan LPI 5) Sumbangan dan kemudahan waktu bencana atau musibah untuk ahli-ahli seperti khairat kematian dan sakit kritikal. 6) Kerja sama untuk mewujudkan Insuran dan takaful dengan syarikat Insuran dan takaful. Didapati ramai freelancers tidak ada kemudahan ini Contoh-contoh diatas memerlukan KOSTEM terlibat dalam perniagaan untuk mengumpul dana. Saham dan yuran ahli tidak cukup untuk rancangan diatas. Namun dengan koperasi adalah untuk kebajikan Semua, padangan saya, KOSTEM perlu memikirkan cara ajar KOSTEM tidak menjadi saingan kepada perniagaan ahli-ahli. Ia boleh menyebabkan pilihan KOSTEM terhad. Catatan saya ini hanya garapan untuk renungan kita semua. Tanpa penglibatan dan penyertaan aktif kita, apa jua yang dirancangkan oleh kita tidak boleh berjaya. Kita ini tidak ramai, hanya kita sahaja yang boleh tentukan masa depan komuniti OSS adalah kita.
