[otrs] New ticket notification

Hi,



Though I have state change notifications
going out via email, when a new ticket is created a notification is not
being sent out. I am running a completely standard install on a SuSE 9.0 box, and all other mail comes and goes happily.



What have I missed?

[otrs] Enhanced Stats

Hello otrs list,
Just wondering if anyone had any information on advanced stats taking 
for the OTRS system, basically I'm looking for stats based on a per 
queue / per agent basis.

I am testing OpenReports, server and designer :
http://www.opensourcesoft.net/
Apache / tomcat / Java
It is an external solution, but quick and easy.
If someone has another reference, i'm interested.

notification are you talking about? Auto-reply to customer that sends in 
an email? Notification to agents of new tickets in the 
queue?

If it 
is auto-reply to the customer, you have to make sure that you have created an 
auto-response and associated it with the proper queue.

If you 
are talking about agents, the agents has to have the queue selected as part of 
their custome queue and the agent has to choose to have new ticket notifications 
sent.

[otrs] Help with SSL

We had a similar problem.  Try this:
- Shutdown Apache
- Run ipcs and note the shared memory ids  keys
- Run ipcrm to remove all leftover shared memory ids  keys
- Restart Apache

[otrs] Free fields when replying to a ticket (AgentCompose)

Hi

Wanted to first of all say that OTRS is awesome software, I've been able
to cut my email handle time by 35% after deploying this package.  

Because customers are really enjoying the fast response time we are
starting to get more and more volume.  

I need to start reporting on email types, sources, etc.  I've designed a
few free fields which will give me the reporting I need.  However the
problem is that we can't set the free fields from the email reply
screen.  To do it the agents have to zoom in on the ticket, set the
fields, then reply to it.  I'm losing my handle time savings :(  

I get the fields to display on the PhoneView screen, and when Composing
a brand new message, just not from AgentCompose.  

I've tried splicing in some of the code from AgentEmail (.dtl and .pm)
into AgentCompose, but to no avail, I end up with 500 Internal Server
errors.  I tried adding the fields to the dtl file, but the
corresponding free fields code isn't in the pm file?

I've been scouring all the articles for a while and haven't been able to
find an answer.

Any help that anyone is able to give, or any code I can add would be
very appreciated.

Is this out?? I cannot see anything on your website. I am running 1.2.3.
Is this an old version now?
