Did you strictly follow the UPGRADING file?
There are some SyConfig options that might need to reset.

Hi Nathan,

Yeah, you need to install the new crontab. Look at bin/Cron.sh. Running it
without any parameters gives you some instructions.

Subject: [otrs] Changing PostMaster pickup time

I need to change the amount of time between each mail pickup from 10 minutes to
1 minute. I have modified the var/cron/postmaster_mailbox file to reflect this
and have restarted cron. Is there anything else I need to change to properly
set this new pickup time?

[otrs] resetting root password

2011-07-18 Thread Robert Woodworth
I finally gave up on Turnkey OTRS.
I took a fresh Ubuntu10 machine and got the source install.
I got the thing up and running (kind of)

I know that when it asked me for the root password I typed the right thing.

I cant log into this thing via the web.
I tried root, admin, otrs
To no avail.
I clicked on forgot password but that wont help because there is something
wrong with the mail setup.

Am I bricked again?
Is there ANY salvage?
Its taken me a whole day to get this far and I REALLY DON'T want to wipe the
machine and start all over.

How can I ssh into the machine and use the shell to set the web password for
root ?

[otrs] Multiple instances

2011-07-18 Thread Kristofer Pettijohn
Hello,

I have set up multiple OTRS instances using mod_perl on a single server (using
http://blog.otrs.org/2010/08/11/how-to-run-multiple-mod_perl-supported-otrs-on-a-single-host/).

Everything works except for the fact that otrs2 can view otrs1 logs from the
web interface.

The Config.pm files both have their logging set appropriately, and the log
files are both written to individually for each site
(/opt/otrs1/var/log/otrs.log and /opt/otrs2/var/log/otrs.log).

However, in the OTRS web page under Admin - System Log, otrs2 user can see
otrs1 logs.

The log for otrs2 is quiet, so I can't confirm otrs1 can see otrs2's logging
data within their admin page or not.

What might be causing this?

[otrs-de] Keine neuen Ticketbenachrichtigung bei Out of Office

Josef

Cheers, Nils
