Thank you. I checked the CheckMXRecord::Nameserver option and had misspelled the name of our DNS server. I reversed a couple letters by mistake. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Re: [otrs] [OTRS] Error in 'To' field when replying to ticket
For your comments, may be the problem is your DNS settings, I think it should be OTRS pointing to AD, and check your settings: Config Options: Framework - Core * CheckMXRecord: * CheckMXRecord::Nameserver: * CheckEmailAddresses: Good luck Julio Angulo De: otrs-boun...@otrs.org [mailto:otrs-boun...@otrs.org] En nombre de Michael Nikolic Enviado el: Martes, 19 de Abril de 2011 04:50 p.m. Para: otrs@otrs.org Asunto: [otrs] Error in 'To' field when replying to ticket Hello- I have installed 3.0.5 on Ubuntu 10.10 and integrated OTRS with AD on W2K3 R2. I have configured otrs with AD and have populated my agents and users from the company database. I am able to receive tickets in the queue as well as through our exchange server. I run into problems when I attempt to reply to a ticket. First the reply page takes about 5 minutes to load but the CPU load is only at about 10% and the network traffic experiences a momentary spike but recedes to near flat line. Once the page loads, I receive an error stating the email in the 'To' field is not valid and to either change it or to not use a local address. The email address is valid however since it populates from the AD field and is our own company address from where the original ticket was sent. Is there a config somewhere I am missing or is this a common problem with OTRS? I have looked in the forums and through the documentation and followed all suggested configuration changes but at this point I probably just jacked something up. Any help is appreciated. [otrs] OTRS Error POP3 error
Hi We run OTRS 2.3.7 on Debian Lenny. When a new ticket sent via email, it is set to a email box and otrs picks it up via POP3 and puts it into a new queue For some reason, from last week we have been getting this error message very time the POP3 script runs 'Useless use of anonymous list ([]) in void context at /usr/share/otrs/Kernel/Config.pm line 50'. I am not sure waht this message means or how to go about fixing this, This is generating lots of new tickets in email queue As far as I know, we have not made any chnages to the email system or OTRS prior to this Thanks RC This e-mail is intended only for the addressee. Re: [otrs] OTRS error on WAMP env
Hello, man! I've come across this issued upon trying to install that on my WAMP environment. That's because the default OTRS log mode is SysLog, which would fine if it was a LAMP system. You should add the following lines to you Config.pm # # # fs root directory # # $Self-{'LogModule::LogFile'} = 'C:\otrs\otrs.log'; $Self-{'LogModule'} = 'Kernel::System::Log::File'; That will change this default behavior. That should work, or at least yield some other kind of error! :P At the time I couldn't use the provided installer package, because I already had both Apache and MySQL running on my server. [otrs] otrs Error
After a while away, I finally got back to working on getting OTRS up and running. Which I do, for the most part. But, I am getting an error right now for 2 things: SysConfig, and Package Manager when I click on them in the Admin area. I have it running on Ubuntu 6.06 beta 2, using the precompiled package for Ubuntu. At first I had a permissions error when I clicked on either, but I got that worked out. Here is the error now: Software error: Can't locate object method new via package XML::Parser::Lite at ../..//Kernel/System/XML.pm line 781. For help, please send mail to the webmaster ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), giving this error message and the time and date of the error. I'm sure I'm just missing something, but I'm not sure what right now. [otrs] OTRS Error
Good morning, We are running OTRS 1.3.2 on a virtual FreeBSD server. Today we received an error via email from the otrs cron daemon with the following subject line: Cron [EMAIL PROTECTED] $HOME/bin/PostMasterPOP3.pl /dev/null The body of the message contained the following (this will probably word-wrap here): Use of uninitialized value in numeric eq (==) at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.4/Net/POP3.pm line 309. There is no corresponding entry in the System Log viewable from the Admin-area web interface.
