[Owncloud] ANN: sogosync - Open Source ActiveSync with caldav and cardav backend

2012-06-23 Thread xbgmsharp

Owncloud Users,

I am pleased to announce the forth release of sogosync base on Z-Push
2.0 final.
I develop it against a SOGo server, however as both Owncloud and SOGo
use CalDAV and CardDAV standard, it should work the same.

It support read/write carddav and caldav and support multiple address
book and calendar.

It has been tested on iOS 5.1.1 and Android emulator (2.3.3/4.0.3)

It is Open Source software release under AGPLv3 and host on Github.com.

Please feel free to feedback, contribute to the code.

https://github.com/xbgmsharp/sogosync/tags

Thanks to all you, who help sogosync getting better.

Changes from v0.3.0 to v0.4.0
- Z-Push 2.0
- Updated: documentation
- Added: wiki
- Changed: Improved carddav speed on big (+400) addressbook
- Fixed: CalDAV event reminder (issue #7)
- Fixed: Unknown WebClient warning in SOGo
- Fixed: MimeType 'text/*' warning in SOGo
- Fixed: CalDAV 2 way sync (issue #30)
- Fixed: alldayevent start & endtime (issue #36)

Kind regards,
Francois

[Owncloud] multiple folders of same name in owncloud 4.0.3

2012-06-23 Thread hemathor
hey,

i just updated to 4.0.3 and now i have multiple folders of the same name shown
in the files view.

this happens, after i upload a file into a folder (e.g. 'Music'). then, with
each klick on 'Files' in the navigation panel, another duplicate of that
folder is added, which leads to a very large list of 'Music' folders...
other folders show the same behaviour.

greetings...

Re: [Owncloud] Move to GitHub

2012-06-23 Thread eMerzh
For me it's not that gitorious is really bad...
but that i am already on github for other projects and it's simpler to
have everything there... (username eMerzh btw ;-) )

On the issue tracker topic, i have some things that i want to get fixed on
the genie and it's ok for me (downtime / maintenance pbm a-side)
but i think the main issue is that on genie or on github we need to
organise ourself a bit :
how to classify things, what informations are important / need tags ...
what does things mean (testing / assigned /... )
The problem, i think, will specially raise with github issue (tagging style
instead of list of fields) so we have to be careful and to define some
"way-to-go"
(don't get me wrong ... i like the flexibility of Github but it can lead to
some disorganization :p )

about the split of repos, we may want to be careful about providing core
apps compatible with the core code (manage compatibility issues at least
for core ..)

Better organization is another reason for GitHub Issues. We would have
separated bug tracker for every single repo. It makes it all a bit cleaner.

we can create as many labels as we like ;)

Re: [Owncloud] Move to GitHub

2012-06-23 Thread eMerzh
Hehe,
yes, but do we have the ability to transfer an issue from one to
another? (just asking)
and yes we can have as many label as needed but it's better if
everyone use at least some equivalent labels :)

[Owncloud] Feature Request

2012-06-23 Thread Richard Burns
Hi all, i have over 50 users using OC in my organisation and one request which
keeps popping up is notifications.
It be great to know if a user actually downloads the 'External' link.

I noticed 'File Notifications' on OC's website in the feature list but have
never seen it work?

[Owncloud] 'syntax error' when Starting ownCLoud Web Installer

2012-06-23 Thread Andi Sugandi
Hi all,

I'm trying to setup ownCloud on my VDS machine (CentOS x86_64). I put
the ownCloud content to ~/public_html directory, but when I access the
web installer, it tells:

owncloud "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '.', expecting '(' in
/home/cloud/public_html/index.php on line 32"

BTW, Google can not help much on this.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance and have nice weekend! :)

Best regards,
