RE: SPS2010 and Outlook calendar integration

2012-05-02 Thread Ishai Sagi
Can you try closing outlook (make sure it closed in the process list) and then
start it by "start-run" and typing "outlook /safe". try to view the calendar
now - does that work?

Hi guys

One of our business users got this error message today, when trying to connect
a calendar from a SPS2010 site to Outlook 2010. I can't seem to find anything
relating to this error for Office 2010 - only 2K3 and 2K7. The registry keys
mentioned don't exist on this users machine. The user has full control to the
site as well as the calendar list in the site. Does anyone have any ideas?

Overzealous admins here have (pre-audit) disabled a large number of AD accounts
that hadn't been used in the last few months. Of course, they disabled all the
accounts for our outdoor staff, resulting in their MySite profiles being
deleted automatically.

We have a Profile DB from before the wipe, and the accounts will soon be back
in AD, but their profiles will all be blank now, so I was thinking of scripting
something to put back the data into the profiles (stuff like mobile number,
assistant, etc)

Has anyone had this kind of thing, or have any scripts handy?

Cheers,
