Re: Does anybody here use Sibelius Scorch?
Mac, Just thought I would comment that I just upgraded to the most recent version of TR and think they have improved the help documentation, at least somewhat. Of course, they offer screen shots of their menus which your screenreader will not read, but they do go into some detail about the settings and parameters. I found that I was able to use a previous version for almost a year, but that since trying to use the interface of several chat clients I have had a lot of driver conflicts that I have still not completely resolved. I might be able to help you if you are having specific problems, though there are probably others using it more successfully than I am at this point. I'm sure if you let us know what problems you are having that someone can offer the necessary steps, which may be enough to get you started. It is one of those programs that works well, when it works. Update To "Need Help With Recording From Soundcard"
Okay folks: Here's the latest; I got the thing to record! Not exactly sure of how to explain it; essentially what I did was to go (in Total Recorder" to "Recording Parammeters, I hit "enter" on "Stereo Mix"..and that seemed to do it. But now I have another problem; although it seems to be showing me that I'm set to record in stereo, it's recording in "Mono!" How do I make it record in sterreo? Sorry to be somewhat of a pain..but I'm really hoping to be able to use this computer to be able to record from live streams..and haven't had much success so far! A strange recording problem.
Hello, I am attempting to assist a friend over the phone. He has a bizarre problem which I have not been able to solve and would appreciate some ideas from other listers. He wants to record an audio stream. So we went into the recording tab of the volume control, unchecked the microphone, checked stereo mix, and adjusted the stereo mix volume setting. I am certain that we are in the recording tab and that the boxes are correctly checked. Nevertheless, the recording is that of the microphone even though the mike is unchecked. I encouraged him to unplug the mike; however, he said it wasn't practical to get to the back of the computer, and he was uncertain as to which plug was that of the mike, and it wasn't feasible to trace the mike chord. So if anyone here has an idea, please let us know. Thanks in advance. melissa you will have to go to the site and download the .hex firmware program.
