Can't do streaming audio with WMP.

2005-10-04 Thread Debbie Bugella
Hi:
I am using WMP10 and there are some .asx segments I need to listen to. First of
all, When I click on the link I am prompted to download and I get a message
which tells me that my default player can't open the file. I was able to do
this last week. I also have the problem on audible.com. When I want to listen
to a sample book, I'm prompted to download the link that points to the file; it
won't play when I click on the link, again the download prompt starts. Do you
think it might help to go back to an older version of WMP?I'm sorry if this
doesn't make sense, but if someone could help, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks, Deb.

Re: CONNECTING IRIVER H320 TO THE COMPUTER

2005-10-04 Thread Michael Lang
I once had one and I had a problem too, if I remember correctly. I
believe that it had something to do with the machines USB battery
loading capability. Did it switch itself off and one had to switch it on
again? I don't know, I asked somebody sighted to turn off the USB
charging for me. After that, all worked as it does on the H-140.

Hi Andrea. Those problems that screenreaders have pronouncing things can
make things very interesting, indeed!

Sure there is a shareware program called midi to wave recorder that will do
this. Check it out here:

Powerdvd question

2005-10-04 Thread Tim Crawford
Hi,

Wonder could someone tell me if there's a way to select the audio output
from power dvd to go through my delta sound card rather than the default
onboard sound.

I've looked through the configuration settings in powerdvd, but don't see an
option.

Thanks,

Tim.

Yes, It's called something like intelliscore. It costs around $70. I
will not vouch for how good it is.
