you can find it easily by going into google and typing rawavrecorder
on the search box
It records in real-time what you are listening in real player (or
real alternative) without interfering with the synthesizer that is
you do not hear jaws talking, in the resulting recording
you must have realplayer or real alternative installed, you open the
URL with ctrl+l in rawavrecorder (the .ram, .ra or .rm file URL) and
while listening it records into wav, then you can convert it into mp3
with a normal audio editor
Don't know if there are easiest ways

recording problem with goldwave

2007-03-05 Thread Betsy Sawyers
Hello,

I recently installed GoldWave version 5.19 on a computer for the first time and
when I went to record, the only thing I got was what JFW was saying. I tried
changing input sources with no luck and am completely baffled! I am running XP
home with jfw 8 and wonder if the problem is with my SBLive. I never had this
problem with my other computer which is set up the same as far as I can tell.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Betsy, also, some sound cards have check boxes that allow you to mix
your inputs, just as you can in the playback properties. If this is the
case, you must check everything that you don't want recorded, such as the
wave out and the stereo mix, which some sound cards call what you hear!

I don't have Real Player or any other software that will play .ra files. I
want to convert them to MP3 so I can play them in Windows Media Player. I
guess I could also ask if there is a plug-in for Media Player that will

You can try this site:

You upload the RA file and you can convert into various formats; then you
get a link to download the converted file via E-mail. I've tested it now on
converting RA into MP3 and it worked very well.
Hope it helps.

No, what I said was you can now use M#u files in file mergers and
conversions. I.E., you can use an existing M#u file to determine which
files are converted or merged.

No, that turns on and off the equalizer, I want the key which allows

When the Winamp equalizer is open, and you have ctrl-tabbed to it, pressing
n activates and deactivates it. Pressing a activates and deactivates the
autoloading of the presets. From your question, I'm not sure which of these
last two is the one you want, but it is one of them.

On some pages, simply pressing escape will stop the music from playing. On
others, there's nothing you can do but wait for the audio files that loads

No, that turns on and off the equalizer, I want the key which allows
the loading of presets or not. It is the key which makes the key
active. When the equalizer is not active, you can still move to it with
altg.
Thanks,
Michael

RE: .ra to mp3 converter?

2007-03-05 Thread Tim Grady
I thought windows media could play .ra files. Maybe that was an
older version. Do you have the box checked in windows media that
says in affect download necessary codecs?

GoldWave PlugIns

2007-03-05 Thread Tony Swartz
Does anyone recommend any of the GoldWave PlugIns, in particular, MULTIQUENCE
and GWVoice. Are either accessible.

Also I remember hearing on someone's tutorial that the effects in version 4
were better than those in version 5. Is this still the case?

Thanks,
Tony Swartz

Oh, Ok, thanks.
I have a multy channel Sound Blaster Live Platinum sound card. Is there any

Thanks again, Vicky

I use the GWVOICE plugin all the time to punch up the voice tracks on my
radio show. I use the GWAMP plugin to apply the Winamp-compatible Audio
Stocker plugin.

Re: Music on web pages

2007-03-05 Thread Richard Claypool
You can't. Best thing ot do is get a cheapy sound card, and redirect your
voice synthesizer onto that sound card.

Pressing esc will work on regular web pages, but not say on sendspace.
