Re: a simular program to GoldWave

2007-05-02 Thread Marijan Janev
Juan, Sound forge is very good program and more professional than Goldwave.

Mr. Juan said the following on 01.05.2007 13:55:
 Hello all:
for some unknown reason GoldWave started given me an error and can't use it.
I am looking for another program which is simular or better to use instead of
GoldWave. something that will do multiconversions and that will allow me to
 convert from within various extentions.
would very much appreciate a name and if there are plug ins available for it.
 thanks

Juice won't Open

2007-05-02 Thread Mike Pietruk
When attempting to open Juice, I get an error msg as a result of the path
of where the the podcasts are stored no longer existing (the external
drive had its letter changed).
As I cannot get into the program, I can't obviously changed that info.
Any suggestions as to how I might remedy this situation.
I am afraid that uninstalling, and then reinstalling, will not only lose
my previous settings but also might just bring up that same inaccessible
path.

Re: Direct speech output

2007-05-02 Thread John Price
High John.
I am wondering the same thing too.
Because of the fact that the days of tech support for Windows XP are
numbered, I am thinking about getting a mack system.
I think Vista has to many flaws and to many draw backs.
One of them being infrengement upon your privacy.
I've looked for text to voice software for Macks, but I haven't found any
out there yet.
I may have to write that program myself.
If I am rong about this, everyone out there, please let me know.

Re: Fwd: New ACB Radio Tuner Tutorial is Active!

2007-05-02 Thread Darrell Shandrow
Hi Cher,

I believe the advantage of the Tuner is simply ease of access. Simply run
the Tuner and press a single hotkey for access to any ACB Radio stream, for
instance, CTRL+I to go straight to ACB Radio Interactive. You could even
assign a shortcut key to the Tuner itself, so, for instance, you could
access Interactive by pressing CTRL+Alt+A (or whatever you assigned as the
shortcut to the Tuner) followed immediately by CTRL+I.

VIDEO/TV TUNER CARD RECOMMENDATIONS, PLEASE?

2007-05-02 Thread Olusegun -- Victory Associates LTD, Inc.
Hi Everyone:

As the Sound Engineer in church, I have been asked to come up with plans to
interface a projector with the computer so that the words to songs and other
Power Point presentations can be easily projected to the congregation for
easy reading and such.

The computer will be running Windows XP Professional Service Pak2.

What video/Tv tuner card would a professional guru in the house recommend?
Can you please include a website where I can read up more info on it?
Thanks much for every help!! CrossFire cards OK as well.

Sincerely,
Olusegun

RE: Winamp Library Question

2007-05-02 Thread Wes Derby
Yep...Thanks to the great scripts by David Truong, I got it straightened out.
All I had to do was unzip his scripts into my settings\enu folder, and
everything works like it did before. I haven't tried it with the radio stuff
yet, though...I'm assuming it'll work; everything else I've done works right.

However, I have another strange issue that I've noticed since Winamp 5.33, and
I don't think this has anything to do with JAWS. In the library, the Albums
and Songs lists are sorted propperly, but the Artist list is sorted from Z
to A instead of A to Z. I haven't changed anything in my display settings; any
idea how I can get the propper sort order back on that listview, or is this a
new Winamp feature?
