Re: ripping in CDEX

2007-12-26 Thread Christopher Chaltain
Have you looked in Options - Settings - File Names yet? I haven't
looked at this in a while, but I think if you'd specify the format of
the file name you want (track, artist, song name, ...) without
specifying any \, I'd think it would drop the ripped tracks into the
directory you specified. If you have any more questions or information,
such as what format you'd like for the file names, I could see about
giving more specific information.

Hi John,

I'm not sure why this link isn't working for you because I just tried
the link at www.majorgeeks.com/Winamp_5_Full_d2490.html and it
definitely works as a link to download Winamp version 5.51.

Regards Steve.

I got a message that said, Internet Explorer cannot display the

So is there another way to get Winamp 5.51?

Making Sonar Accessible

2007-12-26 Thread Samuel Wilkins
Hello, I am trying to make Sonar accessible with Window Eyes, but the only
thing is to edit the registry. I have made a system restore point and I have
got the key. I go into the start menu, run and type in regedit. Then, I go to
edit, new and key. However, it asks for a key name and I can't put the key in.
I type in the name and press enter on the combo box that says value unknown or
something and I type in the value, but it doesn't work. I've tried using the
readme file but I don't understand it. Could someone please give me a step by
step guide on how to set Sonar up for accessibility? I am using windows XP
home, Sonar Home Studio 6 and Window Eyes 6.1. Thanks.

Adding Genres In MP3 Tag Editor

2007-12-26 Thread Rob Armstrong
I am using version 2.36A of MP3 Tag Editor. I think this is the latest
version. I cannot successfully navigate the genres tab in the Options menu
with JAWS 8 to add a new genre. After reaching the Genres option in the
preference tree, the tab key only stops on OK, Cancel, and Help. With the
JAWS cursor, I can find the Checkbox for Show Only User Defined Genres.
But I cannot find a button or other control to allow me to add new genres to
the list.

I appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

Rob

CD/dvd Rom Drive problem

2007-12-26 Thread Muhammad Karim
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone on the list might be able to help me out. My CD/DVD
Rom drive allows me to read or play both CD's and DVD's but I am unable to
paste audio or any other type of file into the CD/DVD E drive. Consequently, I
can't burn or write files to CD. Does anyone have an idea what the problem
might be and how to rectify it?

Easy CD DA Extractor 11.30, we're getting there

2007-12-26 Thread Dane Trethowan
Hi Everyone!
Ok, upon upgrading to this new version of Easy CD DA Extractor, I was
pleasantly surprised to see that the bug I'd reported with the Cue
sheets and conversion has been fixed, well sort of fixed might be a
better way of putting it. Now the software doesn't like long filenames
in the cue sheets or long track names, I've already written to the
author about this so we'll see what happens but it just goes to show
you the positive things which come out of constructive and meaningful
feedback and dialogue between developers and users, pity that the same
cannot be said for all developers though.
