Re: Splitting a large file into three segments with Goldwave

2008-06-21 Thread doc
the easiest way is to
1. shift e (set marker)
2. tab twice to the finish marker and type in the length of the segment and
then press enter
3 use the rewind key f5 to make sure you are not in the middle of a word. If
you are then control shift right arrow moves the finish marker to the right
When you have the segment you want
open the file menu and press v to save selection
you may name this whatever you like
when that selection is saved delete it and then press control a to reselect
the remainder.

My computer wont let me install winamp 5531

2008-06-21 Thread Richard T. Costa
Ok people, this is going to be a long one so bear with me smile. About a
month ago I was streaming some music on my network, when I had tried to
pause the song none of the winamp keys worked. When I looked at winamp,
only the main window was up and doing a ctrl+tab did nothing. When I had
closed it I got that the ml_bookmarks.dll was the problem so this is what I
did so far,
tried a reinstall no good, tried to just replace the dll file no change,
uninstalled winamp and cleaned out the registry same error, finally no
winamp at this point. The odd thing is in the file menus there's the
following play in winamp, end view in winamp, and add to winamps bookmarks
list. So can anyone help? I have skype my id is richard.costa1 thanks.

Total Recorder 7 PE

2008-06-21 Thread TheLearningCenter
Hello List!

Today, I was notified that my version of Total Recorder (6.1) was outdated and
I should upgrade. Well, I have not been able to get JAWS or Skype to work
while the new version of TR7 is loaded. For example, once you shut JAWS down
or reboot the system while TR7 is installed, no sound is available with JAWS.
Exactly, the sound is there, but it is totally turned down. I would set and
reset the volume control, but each time I shut Jaws down or reboot the system,
it would be back down again. I haven't foundout how to keep the volume control
from being turned down by TR7.

Well, I finally uninstalled TR7 and things went back to their old ways.

For the first time as far as I know, during the installation, TR7 asks you to
install two drivers (yes or no). When those files were not installed with TR7,
things worked with JAWs. Can someone tell me what is going on. I may have to
go back to TR61p, as it worked perfectly.
