need help with a strange issue with a cd I burned with nero

2009-01-11 Thread Casey

Hi okay I have burned to copies of this cd now.
Well make that three.
And I burned them all as an audio music cd cause it is an album that someone
had uploaded to the net and I got it and unzipped it.

And it plays on the computer just fine.
But burn it to a cd and it won't play any audio all of the tracks will be
there and it will act like they are playing.

But there will be know audio.
Now someone hear suggested doing something to turn them in to es files and
then using control b to burn that way.
Then how would that make that be able to then be played in my home cd
player?

This is the first an only cd that I have ever had this happen with.
It burns fine and completely but all the tracks and everything just no songs
to hear.
But the files are in mp3 format cause that is how the album was ripped from
whoever had it.

So can this be corrected and if so how and has anyone hear seen this before?
I have tried three different kinds of disks hear with the same results.
All the rest of my stuff burns fine wither it is down loaded or not.
So why this one and what makes this happen just wondering?

Re: a cd buring question

2009-01-11 Thread Arthur Barney

Hi Don,
open Nero Burning Rom,
tab to CD iso,
down arrow to audio,
tab to new,
click on it,
copy the files there,
use ctrl + b to burn,
tab to burn, and you should be on your way.

I am using Nero seven and windows xp and have never had this come up

Now these are mp3 files and they play in winamp just fine when I am
playing
them off of the hard drive but as for the disk that they are burned on
forget it.
So how can this be and what is causing this any ideas?

Hi gary,

when you have the new project and session choices made tab past the tree
view so that the focus is in the list view. Then either go to the edit
menu
and choose add tracks to layout or you can get there by pressing
shift-f10.

Hope this helps.

RE: How to use Global Tuners

2009-01-11 Thread Dave
I use em all the time. They've changed the interface a bit, but esentialy
you click on a receiver's link, choose your "skin," (classic modern or Java
script,) I have personally found that java script offers the best result.

Maybe we should get together off list.then click on the "tune this receiver"
link

There is a site where you can access radio tuners over the internet. The
site is http://www.globaltuners.com

You need to register, but it is free. I have registered, but can't work out
how to use the tuners. Has anyone successfully used
this site with JAWS? If so, please can you give me some hints.

Thanks,
Barry Chapman

Winamp Scripts

2009-01-11 Thread Steve Pattison
Detailed information about the Winamp scripts for Window-Eyes can be found at
www.csedesigns.com. The scripts themselves can be downloaded from GW Micro
Script Central at www.gwmicro.com/sc. I am very impressed with the
improvements these scripts provide to the functionality of Winamp.

a cd buring question

2009-01-11 Thread Casey

Hi I have burned a john Horton album to a cd that someone had uploaded.
The cd burned fine and I burned it using Nero and just told it to make a
regular audio cd.

Well everything was fine.
But then I go to play the disk all of the tracks are there but it seems like
they are not there.
Cause no matter what cd player I use I have no audio on any of the tracks
and the disk says that they are all there.

So what do I have to do so that this will work correctly?
I am using Nero seven and windows xp and have never had this come up before.
Now these are mp3 files and they play in winamp just fine when I am playing
them off of the hard drive but as for the disk that they are burned on
forget it.

So how can this be and what is causing this any ideas?

Casey

Re: MP3DirectCut Version 2.10 is now Available

2009-01-11 Thread Barry Chapman
I installed this version and found that some of the keystrokes no longer work.
Namely F5 to F9 which are used to review parts of
the selection. Has anyone else experienced this.

I have gone back to version 2.9.

Regards,
Barry Chapman
