Re: Moving Files.

2009-07-02 Thread dan thompson
I totally agree with Dave. I have lost files using the move command. But
in addition, I have found moving a large amount of files isn't always good.
So if you are moving say 100 files, try it in 25 at a time to save you from
gitting an error of one in the middle of a large number not being able to
copy for whatever reason. Then you have to start from where you left off
again.

Well the quick and dirty way is to copy and paste. Just highlight the
file
or files, hit controlC then highlight the drive or directory where you
want

the files to go and hit control v. Personally, I suggest copying rather
than using the "move" command because then if something breaks you still
have the original files.

Hi
Although I read this post, I am not enlightened. Are there security
issues which have been corrected in this latest version? Are there real
advantages to downloading this other than having the latest and greatest
version? Thanks for any help on this issue.

Marsha

I don't have time to search myself, but you might look at
www.audiobookstand.com or their downloadable partner.

Subject: Downloadable audio book source - Left Behind

Hi
Some of you may be aware of the Left Behind Series books.
For a long time now I've been trying to finish reading the series but can't get
a hold of the books. audible.co.uk don't have the full set, whereas audible.com
does - I can't join the latter as I live in the UK.
The books I'm looking for are the prequels and sequel - The Rising, The Regime,
The Rapture and Kingdom Come - all in unabridged format.
Google searches aren't helpful Can anyone suggest another site from which they
can be purchased and downloaded?
Thanks.
