Please forgive my ignorance, but who exactly is this guy the tribute is
for? I know, probably a very silly question but I've never heard of him
before. Again, please forgive me, I feel like it should be obvious
since there've been so many messages in the thread.

Yeah, think you mean Easy CD converter? You probably didn't get EAC to
work correctly because you didn't set it up correctly , its a
little involved but only takes around 5 minutes to get going, well
worth it once you do.

All down to the ripping software you're using and now you know why I
don't use Nero, iTunes or anything like that, try Exact Audio Copy
of Easy CD Converter for Windows, that way you'll get accurate
results no matter what your hardware is.

Exact Audio Copy may take a few minutes to set up but there's plenty
of information out there to give you a hand.

Easy CD Converter is pretty straight forward in most of its settings
though you may need to tweak some of the settings depending on the
quality of your audio CD'S you're ripping, in any case the error log
is your first port of call for these Apps, if there are errors in
ripping then the log will tell you about them andthen you make
adjustments accordingly.

Hi List,

I hope someone can help me how to solve this problem.
I'm using the same CD-DVD-Burner on two different windows 7
machines with

Nero Burning Rom to burn audio CDs.
With one burner the CDs are fine, with the other the results won't
play on
many audio CD players, admittedly, they're older models, but from
the one PC

they play fine, from the other they don't.

I'd appreciate any ideas concerning that problem.

Thanks in advance.

Take care
Alexandra
