Re: Hope/Pandora, cannot activate

I'd herd from a number of people that it was extremely difficult to get
any type of response and support from him, unfortunately. I also payed
for the application, way back when, but that was before I'd been told
that he wasn't supporting his programs all that well.

Sorry to hear that, all the same.

user key, which I've since confirmed. I've also installed Microsoft C++, as
recommended on the troubleshooting page. The version of Hope installed on my
system is 1.19, which appears to be the latest. Meanwhile, Pandora recognizes
me because I get emails from Pandora from which I can link and listen to my
stations. But I like the accessibility afforded by Hope.

Here's what happens when I attempt to activate. After entering all the information, the usual menu
appears—listen, create a station, search, etc. I type an artist's name in the search field, press enter on
"search," then on one of the other buttons, such as "listen" or "create a
station" (I think I have that button's name correct.) But nothing happens. Then I'll close out Hope and
reopen it, only to find the activate dialog again. I've gone through this process several times and also
rebooted.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Internet Radios: Stand-Alone Models

2016-07-09 Thread Dane Trethowan

Hi!

Streaming and listening to Internet Radio is perhaps one of my favourite
hobbies.

In 2011 I was fascinated by the Logitech Squeezebox Boom, a stand-alone
device which could play both Internet Radio streams and allow the user
to stream audio to it via a Computer or similar.

In 2012 the then Logitech Squeezebox Smart Radio came along and this
added portability to the mix - whilst the Smart Radio was in range of a
Wi-Fi network I could enjoy the benefits of Internet Radio and my Music
library through the top class speaker of the device .-

In 2013 I purchased a Sangean WRF-28D radio though I didn't like it much.

Whilst the functionality was pretty good - again allowing the playback
of Internet radio, streaming music and so on - the quality of the
in-built speaker was very poor in my view, the radio had terrible DAB+
reception and FM was very bad so it was with interest that I read about
the replacement model from Sangean, the WRF-28C which I bought some
weeks ago and here are my notes concerning this model as opposed to the
older D model.

The radios look exactly the same but there are quite a few changes
inside the radio.

Firstly the FM and DAB+ have been improved.

You'll notice the vast improvement in speaker quality, it now sounds
very respectible considering the speaker is only a 3 inch driver.

Volume is considerably louder than on the previous model.

The new C model will allow the user to play Spotify using Spotify Connect.

Most important of all in my view is the incredibl battery life of the
new model compared to the old, at least twice the life of the old model,
I get 22 hours out of a set of 7500MAH batteries which is impressive.

Operations between the two models are pretty much the same and the newer
C model - as with the D - can be remotely accessed via the Undok
IOS/Android App and can be streamed to via your computer or compatible
DLAN Application.

Be warned however that availability of the newer model is restricted in
Australia at least so you may have to look carefully to find it, I
bought mine from Trevor Lees Audio in Kew Victoria and they have a web
site which you can eaisly find on Google or eBay, another place to look
is JB Hi-Fi.

Yep loads of them or you can use an adapter to use existing USB microphones
such as the Blue Yeti.

There are a number of microphones that will connect to the IPhone.

One of the best is probably the Shure Motiv MV88. For more details see:

RE: MAGIX Samplitude Music 2016 - Recording Software☑

2016-07-09 Thread John Chilelli
Okay. Here's the latest:

I remembered talking with Jim Noseworthy just briefly on the subject. Now I
could fbe wrong about this...
"You know I was wrong once, - but then I was told that I was wrong about that."
I believe he told me that the new jaws scripts were written for the Samplitude
Pro x2 program.

However as for where one goes to find the scripts, it is still a mystery to me
even after googling for them.

Any other ideas on where I can look?

Hey all,

Anthony, a friend of mine wants to know which
 MAGIX Samplitude
Music 2016 - Recording Software is the correct package that someone wrote jaws
scripts for. And, he wants to know just how accessible these scripts make the
recording daw. Also, where can he find these jaws scripts?

Thanks,
