Very nice! I've seen this mentioned before on list. Will certainly buy this title. On 1/11/2016 11:01 PM, Brian Olesen wrote: Hi, Yeah. Dvd audio extracter. B&W T7, battery finally went flat
Yep, exactly 24 hours ago. So that's incredibly impressive for battery life. Just to summarise, I gave the B&W T7 a full charge last Sunday morning, 23 October and ran the speaker from 2-4 hours every day though last Saturday, Sunday and Monday the unit ran for over 8 hours each day though granted the volume level was low to middle for most of the run of the speaker. Its claimed that the B&W T7 has a battery life of 18 hours? Well that very well may be but how did B&W arrive at that figure? All I can say is that they must have made the measurement with the B&W blasting! The T7 must have - it would appear - a very underrated figure when it comes to its battery life and that can only be a damn good thing, "If you're on a good thing then stick to it", and the B&W is more than just a good thing, sounds good, looks good and is damn good on its internal battery. I charged the unit for around 5 hours and I'm listening to it again now so I will monitor it and - if all goes according to planned - I won't need to give the speaker another charge for 8 or so days. -- ** “Oh, I’m an activist and I’m OK / I sleep all night and I tweet all day.”
Re: SV: The purchase of Any DVD HD
So long as the product works and so long as I have support for as long as I'm able to use the product, if that's over a number of years then I couldn't be happier. Obviously no one should take too literally the idea of a lifetime anything and of course the devil is in the detail a lot of the time, "Subject to change without notice" for example or "Lifetime of the software" so if the software is discontinued and another title released? Well that's obviously the end of the Lifetime. I guess I didn't really explain myself clearly so I'll try again. 105 Euro's seems quite reasonable to me to buy - for want of a better description - the software outright rather than renewing a licence every year or so. Re: The purchase of Any DVD HD
Good point and I can’t answer that question, I can only wish you luck and wish myself luck too , I have the lifetime licence so we can only hope that the developer keeps the software easy to use and accessible and thus we will enjoy the rest of our lives with Any DVD HD . > On 1 Nov. 2016, at 7:26 pm, John Gurd wrote: > > Whose lifetime: the developers, mine, the software itself?
