What's the joined file called?

2016-11-18 Thread Gerardo Corripio
OK more on Audacity: Suppose I have two files selected, right? File1
is the podcast's intro song; file2 is my recording showing how I
performed such and such task on my iPhone, right? So upon completing the
recording, I perform the command Control+Shift+n which mixes and
generates both files into one, right? What's the name or how would I
know which file is the joined one, so as to safely be able to Shift+c
the two previous files, my voice recording and the podcast's intro song,
so when I go to save or export the generated file, I'll know that I'm
working with the right one? Thanks for info.

Re: Blindness-oriented Audacity tutorials?

If you only pressed p for pause while recording, just press p again to
resume.

You can delete a track simply with shift-c while on the track.

 HI listers
I'm trying out Audacity and am kind of getting the hang of it, but
does anyone know of a comprehensive or comprehensive audiotutorials on
how its used? The specific questions I have are

1.-I record and pause, but how do I resume the recording?
2.-Is there a shorter route to delete a track from the list rather
than Alt+p and l?

Thanks for info.
