RE: mp3 direct cut questions

2004-11-27 Thread George Gray
WOW! This MP3 Direct Cut program is sweet.

One question, though; is there a way to make a tune fade-out at the end.
I've a couple of nice hard to find MP3s that just quit maybe 3 seconds from
the end that would sound better if they would fade-out.

Thanks.

Harry, et al:

Let me tell you this thing is really great, man.

Fade outs and ins can be accomplished via the Gain button.

Later.

RE: mp3 direct cut questions

Harry could probably address this much better, but from what I gather all
you need do is follow the usual procedure of setting the beginning and
ending of a segment to be cut as many times and wherever in the MP3 that you
desire, then go to cut with your mouse router, then per usual to Save.

If I may inquire along the same vein?

After selecting several songs and adding them to the list how can one find
the total time accumulated?

Thanks.

And, I too would like a copy if at all possible.

I tried the email, but it did not go through and was bounced back.

Thanks.

If I may jump in here?

Is there a shuffle function during playback on this machine? And, what is
the largest memory that you can get on it?

Thanks.

Janet, or anyone else:

I've been able to amass nearly 20,000 MP3s and am interested in this ftp
thing.

Any suggestions, or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Rob:

First of all, thank you.

Express seems to be a wizard that is pretty friendly; obvious buttons, etc.

I've looked at the CD Burning program and cannot make much real sense of the
various buttons.

Thanks.

Total Time Accumulated

2004-10-05 Thread George Gray
Good Evening, All:

I'm using Nero 6. I am burning CDs via the Nero Express and want to know
how to tell the total time that is being accumulated prior to the program
telling me I can't burn when I attempt to.

I see various time counters with my JAWS Keys, but do not see any time
accumulating.

I am using 80 minute CDs.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

There is no File Menu that I can find.

The Alt key brings up the System Menu.

Nero Quick Up Running

2004-09-11 Thread George Gray

Good Morning, All:

I've just loaded Nero 6.0 on my windows XP with JAWS.

I am busy reading through the Help files and have received quite an
extensive email from John Wilson (thank you John).

I have this weekend (or at least a little time between hurricanes here in
Miami) and need to learn how to burn audio cds quick and dirty. I've some
friends coming into town next weekend and would like to present them with a
few cds to take back home.

Anyone out there willing to correspond directly, or speak via phone to get
me up and running quickly?

I know everyone would like to ask for this assistance, but here I am doing
so.

Thanks to whomever and all.

Making CDs

2004-04-17 Thread George Gray
Yes, of course, this probably has been answered many times and I apologize,
but I'm short of time.

I'm heading out of the country and would like to take my music with me as a
gift for friends, so I'm asking for the most JAWS friendly CD making
program.

I use winamp and have approximately 19,000 MP3s.

I wish to simply record various existing folders of Particular music to CDs
that can then be played by a usual CD player.

Thanks for your forbearance in this regard.
