Converting .mp3 to ..aac
Trying to figure out how to convert .mp3 files to .aac ... the format needed to play music on the Nintendo DSI. I'm told ITunes can do it ... but I was hoping that either Goldwave or another program might do the job. I'm not familiar with using ITunes. I'm still not able to get Goldwave to record. I have been using the ctrl+F9 and ctrl+F8 keystrokes. I miss typed that in my original email. There are only 2 things listed in the combo box for record device ... primary ssound capture driver and microphone/line in sigmatel high definition audio codex. How do I record using Goldwave V5.19? I'm playing a video online and want to record the sound. Do I need to change the settings? I'm using the keystrokes F9 and F8 to start and stop recording ... and nothing records. It's recording but there's no sound when I try to play the selection. What am I doing wrong? I've installed this latest version of Winamp but the library feature seems to be missing. I did the standard install. I've downloaded the MP3 Merge program but when I try to add files it won't recognize my .mpg files. It'll only recognize mp3 and mp2 files. I tried using Goldwave but it messed up the audio .. of course, that might be because Isaved the .mpg as an .mp3 file. I've downloaded and installed Winamp 5.24full with the scripts but still can't get the Media Library to work. When I open the Media Library Jaws says to press F6 to navigate between frames but F6 doesnæt seem to do anything. Any help out there? Am I to do something else? Goldwave
I've got a few tracks that are recorded as split ... split vocals from instrumentals. The vocals come out of one speaker while the instrumentals come from the other. can I use Goldwave to rerecord these tracks and make them come out of both speakers ... keep the track from splitting? And, if so, how do I do it? Converting Audible Files
Can Audible Books be converted to MP3 or any other formats to be played on a CD player? I'm not interested in burning them to CD using the Audible manager since it requires too many discs. I'm hoping to not only convert the files but to compress them as well. Is it possible? Or, are the .AA files already as compressed as they get?
