RE.Question about the mix function in Sound Forge 10
Hi: I'm using JAWS 10 with SF 10 and I do mix all the time. You can set the mix parameters in the preference menue. Hi: Hi: You ahve several ix options in the imx menue, just like in SF 8. You can also parameter fading in the preference menue. Personally, I prefer to use the process/fade-in/fade-out that works very good for the type of mixing I need. Hope it helps. -Message d'origine- De : pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] De la part de pc-audio-requ...@pc-audio.org Envoyé : dimanche 28 novembre 2010 21:01 À : pc-audio@pc-audio.org Objet : Pc-audio Digest, Vol 83, Issue 28 Send Pc-audio mailing list submissions to pc-audio@pc-audio.org To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://pc-audio.org/mailman/listinfo/pc-audio_pc-audio.org or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to pc-audio-requ...@pc-audio.org You can reach the person managing the list at pc-audio-ow...@pc-audio.org When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of Pc-audio digest..." Every iece of software I have tried in the recent years has proven to be unaccessible : Traktor, Mixvibes, Cerato etc). Does any of you have any information about that? Help with voiceovers in Sound Forge (Matthew Bullis)
Hi: To use the voiceover function I sugest the following: Press control m Which is the shortcut for "dit - mix." Then in the rop-down list, use the "voiceover" which is the last option of the list" and it should work just fine. Of course, before that you need to copy your whole voice file in order to mix it in the music file. Hope it helps. sp2 and burning CD's, issues?
Hi everyone! this question might have been raised before and if yes well all my apologies to ask it again. I recently upgraded to windows xp sp2 pro edition. I don't know if it is related to this but yesterday I wanted to burn a CD. Everything seemed to run smoothly and my burning software (I used real player 10 for this) said that tracks were on CD. As I checked the CD I found out that there was nothing at all on it. I used a CDR, burning at a 24X speed. After this I tried with roxio easy CD Creator 5 and nothing. Same issue. So, what is it due to? Is there something in SP2 that prevents the burning of CDs? Do I need to upgrade roxio to CD/DVDcreator 7? I'm asking this because given the price of such upgrade I'd like to make sure that there is an issue with sp2. If there is none known then that means that the problem comes from somewhere else (CD burner for instance) Thanks in advance for your kind answer AYMERIC ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi! Most external soundcards don't allow the recording from the system mixer source but there is a way to bypass it making the soundcard beleive that you are recording from the line-in source. Re: VORBIS COMPARED TO MP3
Vorbis is definitely far better than mp3 : First on the philosophical level : it is an open-source standard, so no copyrights involved. 2 : the soundquality is far better than mp3 and allows a bigher sampling rate. A 160kbps ogg will sound clearer than a 320kbps mp3. I really encourage you to play with it. you'll be really amazed... Ogg vorbis has, in my ears, a siilar quality to the aac format. Hi! Here is what I personnally use (but it does not mean that there is nothing better. I just find it easier for my own needs). I personnally use real player for everything. Re: FRIEND'S WINDOWS MEDIA WON'T PLAY
Hi Joanne! the best thing I can ddvise you to do is to open realplayer go to preferences and check "mecia player" in media types.. then real player will play windows media files (providing you ahve realplayer 10)... it's really easier for blind users..; well, it is for me anyway. :))) Hope this helpsAt 13:32 24/10/2004 -0400, Joanne wrote: My friend has even reinstalled Windows Media Player and we have gone to file types and selected all types and still it won't play mp3's or stations on the net specifically requiring Media Player. accessible software to mix on pc
Hi all! I love electronic music and one of my dreams would be to go behind the 1 and 2s and to histerize a dancefloor. Well, it has never happenand I doubt it will one day. nonetheless, no that softwares are available I was wondering if there was any software allowing me to be a virtual dj that was accessible with jfw. does any one know? I heard that dj traktor is very sighted-user friendly because it has alot of keyboard shortcuts. It could be blind-friendly too but I have never been able to have jfw working in it. Same for something like mixvibes. Is anyone aware of potential scripts? thanks alot for your kind answers :)) AYMERIC PS : If you mention a software, could you be kind enough to give the URL of the place from which it can be downloaded? ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: Problem with Radio Broadcast Links.
Hi Andy! the thing is, you cannot play asx files in winamp. .asx files means that this is a windows media player stream and well, they don't give away their source codes for other softwares to play them. I don't know how real player managed to negociate with microsoft though. I happened to have a problemto listen to windows media streams indeed, I had this dialog box to download the file as it is a "asf" file. the only thing I did (if I remember correctly was to uncheck "asf" in winamp and then it worked fine. It really took me a long long time to figure it out though I can tell you :)) At 13:52 22/10/2004 +0100, Andy wrote: Hi Milton and Aymeric. I get the same problem in Windows Media Player 9 and 10. My brother Peter, who lives in Canada, came up with what looked like an obvious solution, but alas, after reboot, the problem came back. This is Peter's advice: "Hi Andrew, Like I said I managed to create your problem on my own computer. Every time I hit Radio Clyde 2 I was asked to download a file. What I did was as I had said before. Go into Winamp and select file types. None button. Then I downloaded that little stream file. I went into the folder where it was downloaded, highlighted it and hit the right windows application key. This opened the applications pull down menu and I selected Open With and hit enter. I then arrowed down to Choose program. From the choice of programs I selected Media Player then tabbed to the check box that says, always use this program for this kind of file. I checked it and moved to the OK button. Then I went back into my radio links, selected Radio Clyde 2 and it opened and played in Media Player. I could not get it to play in winamp.
