I strongly recommend that you read the following and make sure that you understand what you are being told. Put your DVD in the drive. Start VLC player. Use Control+D to bring up the disk dialogue. Tab through this dialogue and make sure that the DVD appears in the field that indicates the disk that will be opened. If your target DVD is not in that field because you have more than one DVD drive then use the browse button to move to the correct drive. Once you have verified that you have the correct disk selected, use the shift+tab button to go back to the play button. Press space on the play button and after 10 to 30 seconds (depending on the preference of the DVD manufacturer), the DVD will begin to play. To play or pause the DVD use the space bar. Use P only if you want to start playback from the very beginning. The playback menu can be reached by Alt+L . In the playback menu you will find: Title - which will tell you the length of the titles on the DVD Chapter - which tells you about the chapters of the selected title Program which will probably show as being unavailable Speed Custom bookmarks Jump forward (see the keyboard shortcuts below) Jump backward See below Jump to specific time see below Previous title Next title Previous Chapter Next Chapter Play Stop Previous Next Record So, to do what you say you want to do in your original message, press space to make sure your DVD is playing, press space again to pause playback then use Alt+l to go to the playback menu then go down to the next title and press enter. Wait for a few seconds for the program to adjust and then press space to resume playback. The following shortcut keys can be used rather than the jump item in the playback menu: Shift+Arrow Left/Arrow Right Very short jump (3 seconds) Alt+Arrow Left/Arrow Right Short jump (10 seconds) Ctrl+Arrow Left/Arrow Right Medium jump (1 minute) Ctrl+Alt+Arrow Left/Arrow Right Long jump When you are finished, control+q will close VLC. Do not use the X or N keys in VLC or you will have unexpected consequences. There is no need for you to use the "pass next key" function of your screen reader for any command in VLC. -- ** Those who need help are those who are prepared to help themselves

If some people can still listen to stations using TapinRadio this will show that not everyone is having problems. However if no one on the list can now listen to stations using TapinRadio I think it is more likely that this crash is a problem on the TapinRadio end. i'll save this information. I may even check out stations from your country. i love the czech language. iAt 10:51 AM 6/6/2013, you wrote: Hi, I apologize to be quite late on reading this threat. Has anyone noticed that even with the FCC mandate, the TV shows that need it the most, the action shows, don't have descriptive video. "Last Resort" and "Revolution" are 2 examples of shows that really needed descriptive video. The only way to find out the details of what happened in these shows if you were watching them alone was to read the recaps. One thing to note, you'll have to use Narrator since it'll see the Mirror driver as a second display, think you are a pirate that just wants to coppy it, and won't bring it up. Among other things, they provide the ability to set multiple time markers for an audio track you are playing, as well as commands for having JAWS speak the elapsed, remaining and total time of an audio track. Essentially, they provide Foobar 2000 with some of the functionality available in the JAWS scripts for Winamp. The scripts are for JAWS versions 12 and 13, but should also be compatible with JAWS 11 and earlier versions at least as far back as 9. However, I can't make any promises as I have only tested them on JAWS 12 and 13. The scripts can be downloaded from http://www.jfwscripts.cjb.net For any Winap users checking out the scripts, please note that while many of the JAWS commands are the same as in Winamp, there are some minor differences in order to accomodate the Foobar UI. Cheers and enjoy, Andrew.
