RE: Moving Through Files With Windows Media
been using WMP 11 since it's been out... to move back an entire track, cntrl-B; to advance an entire track, cntrl-F; to rewind or fast forward a bit of a track, tab down to seek using left arrow for rewind and right arrow for fast forwarding... HTH! In Windows Media 10 and below, at least moving forward to be sort of done (I've never been able to find a way to move backward)..but with Windows Media 11..there seems to be no way to do this as far as I have seen; I am using Jaws 10)..so as I said..if someone knows of a way to do this, I'd also be happy to hear about it! Re: Moving through Files in Windows Media Player
Hi Samuel, Using the seek slider in wmp 11, you can move through the following fractions of the length of the track: 1. Arrow keys move you one twentieth. 2. ctrl + arrow keys move you one fifth. 3. shift + arrow keys move you one four hundredth. 4. shift + ctrl + arrow keys move you by one eight thousandth. A quick way of moving to the slider is to press ctrl + tab, one or two times. Also ctrl+shift+f toggles fast forward. I know there's the seek slider but I don't know of any other way of rewinding or fast forwarding. I'm trying to do this with an Audible book. I'm using Window-Eyes 7.11.
