Well, I'm sorry, but there is no excuse for not emplementing blootooth
4.0, as its out for a long time now and they should no that. I mean
they didn't start planning this thing in 1980 or something. Its just a
sick habbit many companies have to rip us off, buy letting us pay for
older hardware. If they ever upgrade the hardware, then that means a
new player, and that could be a totally different one instead of a
follow up model.

Better Bluetooth 3.0 than Bluetooth 2.0, at least the band width's better.

Yes Bluetooth 4.01 would be most refreshing but perhaps there are some issues 
in the implementation or perhaps the hardware could be updated in the future?

I'm only speculating of course but perhaps some compromises have yet again been 
made to get the product out the door for the price it is and - as has been 
stated - I'm more interested in the OCR side of things but still very pleased 
that a version of Bluetooth better than 2.0 is being used.
